What can we do to drive more activity (even if just for CSC) to Alcurex?  I would love to start trading there, but the very limited activity makes it very difficult.

Book needs to build up. i think this will come when cryptsy's situation comes to a head. In terms of service, Alcurex is really solid and has no KYC/AML. They will win out when Cryptsy becomes so unworkable that people have to fidn a new exchange.

that looks good , it would be sweet if the whole platform can be integrated in the casino wallet so no hassle of sending coins  , is it possible ?

Possible yes but it will never happen. We can not add gambling directly from the wallet due to possible legal problems ....

Ajochems is correct and although it would be a great feature it might deter some people away from downloading the wallet/participating in the trading Casinocoin because they are not aloud to gamble in their jurisdiction.

I definitely do not understand these dumps over 100K or 150K @ cryptsy...

This is the look, same scheme used in Paycoin, exactly one year ago ... And the result was ugly, very ugly ...

It is very strange what is happening .... perhaps my nerves, but this seems "deja vu"

Dump of more than 465K in only one week??? when we are just hours of 2016 and the project that supposedly values 1 csc = $ 1USD Huh?

Paycoin was extremely overpriced and for no reason, CSC still very cheap in my opinion and not everyone looks at the updates here.

Could be someone that mined a lot 1+ years ago when price and difficulty were low and thinks its a good price to sell

Maybe.... but:

I lived well, out the fraud of GAW and Mr. Josh ...

and I remember that at the time, while some waited to paycoin reach the promised value, others were doing consecutive dumps ...

I'm not saying that's what going on here ... but I'm also not saying that is not ...

I'm just careful and nervous, with these dumps...

This would just get the wallet banned and put the developers at risk of being arrested when travelling into locations where the client was used illegally.

With Paycoin that was a bit different, my understanding is that GAW promised buying those coins at $20 or similar. With CSC nobody is promising to buy your coins for $1. Why would they have to? Many in this community have been willing to hand them over for less than $0.04 each. Huge difference there.

The rest is all my opinion, but this is why I buy and hold CSC:

To me I figure that $1 is a short term target that gets the market cap up and running enough to make it worth while for the first 16 casinos to use the program. Obviously, the longer term targets for the price of CSC are a lot higher than $1. Also I think it's important to say that I believe that this isn't some scheme where when it goes to $1 that everybody with huge amounts will sell and runs away. I believe that the casinos want to use this for the next decade at least to open up the US gambling markets and bring some of the advantages of crypto to fiat online gambling. So the prospects for early holders are quite good.

Fiat online gambling is a $41.4b/year industry with no crypto included in that total. Most of these casinos want to avoid BTC because it's too damn slow, eliminating the potential for funding impulse gambling. The branding is not gambling focussed. It's also too difficult for the average person to use directly. Show me one other crypto that has a $41.4b industry established and ready to go for a niche altcoin to capture. It's nuts. Maybe ecommerce comes close, but they have more than adequate payment options that currently exist that enables them to meet the majority of their potential customer base. Online gambling has a potential customer base much larger than their current customer base and they have been looking actively for funding solutions for the past 10 years to help them expand to meet their potential. This very well could be a perfect storm for CSC brewing. Unfortunately, I think we're going to see a repeat of people getting upset after being left behind just like when many sold all their BTC at $7 only to see it run up to $1150 over the following 18 months.

For me, I purchased most of my CSC using proceeds from mining for two years and also with BTC that I purchased with USD. I think i maybe put $3600 in all in all for 3m coins. From the beginning, I considered this a tail risk investment. It was either going to be worth $0 or some astronomical amount. No way I'm selling any time soon. OMG - Everyday I'm amazed at how cheap some people will let these coins go for. $0.02 - 0.04, amazing.

Again, just my opinion. I'm not trying to give anyone any advice here. i could be a complete nutter for all you know. hehe

I'm not trying to give anyone any advice here. i could be a complete nutter for all you know. hehe

The reason why people are letting them go for these prices is because they have heard the exact same thing for years and years and not once has it happened with thousands of coins. If people get shat on so many times and see how it goes for others as well, then ofc they will be hesitant to get in or hold. Right now we have only words, once something actually happens, then they will most likely re-look their positions.

With Paycoin that was a bit different, my understanding is that GAW promised buying those coins at $20 or similar. With CSC nobody is promising to buy your coins for $1 got it. sorry but English is not my mother tongue, and I do misinterpretations .... apparently misunderstood this: http://casinocoinsites.com/ and this: https://twitter.com/search?q=%23prypto&src=typd.

I understand and agree with much of what you said. In fact you have 3 million reasons to want to believe ... I hope you're right, though I only have a few hundred, the result of experiences with Paycoin and many other promises in the world of crypto ...

I just said that I see happen, things you already saw in the past. And what I also said is that mevou keep very careful ... I did not say he did not believe ...

The proof is that I did not sell the few hundred CSC I have, if not believed, was already in another currency.

There will always be people with more enthusiasm than others, as I have f***ed me with Gox, paycoin, miners suppliers, etc. I'm just more aware of what is going on ...

Everyone,

Just a friendly PSA. If you have CSC in Cryptsy, you may want to withdraw them. Things do not appear to be going well over there and with each passing day more and more customers are complaining about withdrawals that go pending forever.

If you have coins in cryptsy that are just sitting there and aren't actively involved in an order, please think about withdrawing them to a wallet under your control. We won't be able to help you if cryptsy runs off with your coins.

Cheers and Happy New Year - GS

Thanks for the news. Luckily I was able to withdraw some CasinoCoins from an old Cryptsy account which I forgot that I had a great amount of CSC in it. It only took me 15 mins after confirming the withdrawal via email and then I received them to my wallet.

There is one thing that I have been looking into, and that is the price of CasinoCoin. Right now, is has been around $0.02 to $0.03 per coin but haven't seen it rise more than that for a few days. Maybe there isn't much excitement now, but I bet that when Prypto would announce CSC cards and also the integration of real casinos, we would get to see CSC's price go to the moon. I expect it to reach at $1 per CSC, but anything could happen in the crypto world.  Roll Eyes
