So *if* he bought in with his own BTC, wouldn't that give him a very good reason to want his investment to succeed, e.g. by paying bounties to improve the coin?  Seems like you answered your own question there--nicely done.  And I also don't think investing a few BTC (i.e., ~$1000) makes you a millionaire....

and BlackCoin/VRC when it was sub-1k satoshi...
if you invested few btc in each, and hold........millionaire

Sure, but that's not my point.  darkslash was FUDing the dev because, according to darkslash, the fact that the dev was willing to invest his own BTC into Nimbus means he must be a millionaire.  Of course everyone *wants* to be a millionaire and some are, as you say; my point was simply that FUDing on the basis of a dev investing in his own coin is pretty illogical, and that investing a couple of BTC doesn't mean that the dev already *is* a millionaire.  (And even if he is, do we really care so long as we see the coin as a decent investment for our own BTC?)

My only loss financial wise was DOScoin .3 btc, I also nearly lost on PPLcoin but made a big profit on that holding out.

Guys just a little advice, if you wanna buy back also check mining first, watch difficulty and calculate daily supply because POW is still long way to go so anyone who is buying right now should check these stats first otherwise you ll end up paying more than what it takes to mine Nimbus. Either mine or buy your call but i can only say get on the train before it left. Wait for dev to announce poker tournament, that time we will go little high on price and mining difficulty matters as well.

It was launched in 15th of August bro, even tho announced in May.. It is listed on bleutrade exchange also and bittrex added it last night. Legit coin with genius dev i ll say, 30K blocks are mined so far of 200k, so mining will last for few months still so you are not too late yet. Welcome to the Nimbus community!
