Newbiecoin (NEWB) is a protocol, coin, and client used to run decentralized applications such as creating and backing decentralized crowdfunding projects , betting on dice rolls and other games in a decentralized casino, etc. The protocol is built on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. There are two important features:
1.Newbiecoin Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform(NDCP)
Like other crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter, NDCP will serve as a means for users to create projects and pledge funds to others. However, websites like Kickstarter can charge as much as 10% of a project’s total funds, making it harder for projects to successfully raise enough money. In NDCP , there is ZERO charge fee!
In many cases, centralized platforms impose restrictions on project creators that add to the burden of their task. Decentralization, on the other hand, empowers them to raise funds in a more proactive manner.
From a security perspective, NDCP protects users by not hosting private keys on any centralized server. This makes the platform a poor target for hackers or other exploiters.
Decentralized crowdfunding allows for more comprehensive vetting processes. In turn, this helps projects prove themselves to possible donors and increase their chances of success.

2.Change the inner unit of Newbiecoin from 0.00000001 to 0.0001 , while the display decimal on pages is 0.01 and the 3rd&4th decimal would be hidden, which would be better for reading and making transactions.
The displayed total amount of Newbiecoin would be changed from 6,582.30800000 NEWB to 65,823,080.00 NEWB and the displayed balance number of each Newbiecoin wallet would multiply 10,000 too.
Like the BTC unit changed from "BTC" to "mBTC", this change only affect the dispaly number, not the total value and the history transactions.

Newbiecoin is generated by TWIN-POB + POS .
TWIN-POB means "Twin channels Proof of Burn" . There are two destination BTC addresses, one is FUND and another is DARKHOLE. You can send BTC to anyone of them and the returned NEWB is the same.
If you like Newbiecoin and would support the Newbiecoin team to improve it continuously, you can burn your BTC to FUND channel.

If you are a first time user and would like to import your Bitcoin address into Newbiecoin, simply open the Newbiecoin software and go to the "Wallet" page. From there, you can import your private key in WIF format.
If you are using Blockchain.info, go to your Wallet, click on "Import / Export," click "Export Unencrypted," choose "Bitcoin-Qt Format," and copy the "priv" key.
NOTE: For security reason, we recommend to use the new BTC address which is generated in Newbiecoin wallet when you first open it. You can send a little BTC from your existed wallet to the new address, then you can burn it for Newbiecoin in Newbiecoin wallet.
