p2pool won't work until bitcoind has finished downloading the block chain

Error: Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0:8333 on this computer. Bitcoin is probably already running.
Error: Failed to listen on any port. Use -listen=0 if you want this.

Seriously... turn that p2pool node off and finish the Bitcoind blockchain update before you turn it back on... listen to IYFTech.

Basically you're trying to drive a car without any fuel and complaining about why it won't go and making funny sounds.
You've got to get some gas/petrol first.

I suggest you do some basic research on how to run a Bitcoin client first, ie: learn how to turn it on/off. Then read up on running a p2pool node & mining in general - it's what we have all done & it's the best way to learn. Trying to help someone who does not know how the stuff works & without any information about OS, system configuration, etc is impossible.

Do a little research please  Wink

i asume u installed bitcoind without any fancy stuff,so u should have started it like this

~/bitcoin/src/bitcoind

now just do

~/bitcoin/src/bitcoind getmininginfo

and it should show u the stats like this

{
"blocks" : 294529,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 6119726089.12814713,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 667,
"testnet" : false
}

as u can see we are at 294529 blocks at the moment

if ur bitcoind shows this it finished downloading
