When trying to setup an xnode, in the instuctions it says "Setup a separate wallet for this & transfer 550 XC’s to the wallet"

How do I setup a separate wallet on the same computer?

Are you wanting to run PoS and an Xnode from the same computer? If so I don't think it can be done at least not to my knowledge because both wallets would need to be using the same port. If you want to swap between one or the other you can tell the wallet x11coin-qt.exe to use another folder for data by adding -datadir=C:\XCData to a bat file.

x11coin-qt.exe -datadir=C:\XCData      

It can be any location that is just an example.

thats probably the smartest thing one might do now, coin is controlled at this pace for weeks now. Dev's releases with v1.5 should pump it up a bit though

Chaeplin is the only person who seems to have done any real work testing this product for the developer. He is the only one who spent a lot of time posting a lot of info in the thread
So now we abuse him and also ask that he test the product.

Oh but we have thanked him. In the past. Before he made his intentions very clear by nagging the dev repeating the same things, even after he got some answers.


Since we are on the subject, with a more stable and closer to the final release of the anon function do you really think chaeplin will be the ONLY one who will want to give this a try? We have, for some reason, excluded the possiblity that another dude, impartial one, dev or not, might come and join the review party?

come on dude... You can't be serious.

His intention is to make XC look bad, not to help you solve your problem .

If you read the entire 300 pages on FUD, you can see he pretends well but his real intention is to create bad image for XC from a technical point of view.

I have nothing bad to say about darkcoin and I'm a big darkcoin holder.

And I don't see why XC and darkcoin can't co-exist

The competition helps both coin grow in the long run.

But intentional slandering of each other can hurt both coin.

So I notice our friend Chaeplin, is doing a lot of talking in the other XC topic and his criticisms fall into two categories below which I respond to here:

1. Xnodes could in theory "steal" XC.

Answer: My understanding is that Rev 2 will have a trust learning algorithm and the dev has said coins cannot be stolen. However if we look at DRK, I believe they use signatures which removes the incentive for mixer nodes to steal the mixed coins. Why don't we also do that ON TOP of the trust learning algorithm? Then we have the best of both and that completely destroys the argument.

2. XC transfer is not anonymous and can be linked

Answer: Dev has an open challenge right now that hasn't been solved yet, based on the new multi-path protocol. I'm confident in the devs ability. I would also be interested to see whether Chaeplins methods can be applied to DRK?

Love the way things are headed. The Dev keeps the upgrades rolling in. Every time I see an update from atc I  . Keep up the great work guys. I am now 100% confident that true anon will happen very soon, and it will be right here with XC. I keep checking the price and laugh to myself.
