Thank you for your post, I have been warning users for the better part of two years now. There have been numerous scam attempts by impersonators, primarily via email. The said scammers are masking their real email addresses so users believe that they are talking to me over email, and send bitcoins without requesting a PGP signature or proof that I was in control of the bitcointalk account.
