The game is over and darkcoin know it.

XC has delivered more in less time. Dark caused its own problem lately and have no one to blame but themselves but they will refuse to do this or acknowledge it.

Darkcoin times has come, its either put up or gtfo. The days where if all you are is a PR shill monkey and its your coin and you promise so much and deliver so little you will be run out of town - that is what XC is doing right nwo to darkcoin.

Look at them go - they are in the death throes.  Sooner or later XC alone will ride this cesspool of the shit scummy part of society that seem to inherite darkcoin fanboys.

50% instanmine scam ffs.
And minig whole supply in few days like XC how you will called ?
not instamine ? in that matter both are same...
while DRK have much better distribution.

Just a reminder of what comes next (bitshares)

Quote
When SATAN meets TITAN

Recently, core developer Danial Larimer revealed "Secure Payments to Users by Name". He descripes, based on ellyptic
curve cryptography (ECC), how to generate a unique receiving address for a user.  The scheme works as follows:
    Create TempPrivateKey TEMP.PRIVATE_KEY;
    TEMP.PRIVATE_KEY * USER.PUBLIC_KEY  =>  SECRET  =>  ONE_TIME_PRIVATE_KEY  =>  ONE_TIME_ADDRESS
The payee can send his transaction that pays to ONE_TIME_ADDRESS and attaches TEMP.PUBLIC_KEY as message to the transaction.
Every client on the network will be able to perform the following operation:
USER.PRIVATE_KEY * TEMP.PUBLIC_KEY => SECRET => ONE_TIME_PRIVATE_KEY
If  ONE_TIME_PRIVATE_KEY is the one that controls ONE_TIME_ADDRESS  then  user will immediately spend the funds from ONE_TIME_ADDRESS to
a new address because the sender retains the ability to cancel the  transaction.
Note:

    turns out this  crypto technique already existed and was called   "stealth addresses". The  fact that we re-invented it is good news though!

    However as the DPOS blockchain allowes for adding the TEMP.PUBLIC_KEY as a comment to the transaction, the receiver does not need to brute-force test

    if a particular transaction can be spent by him. This is the case for stealth-addresses

Pros:
The following features result from his proposal:

    no need to exchange addresses, instead a Name can be given

    ability to encode a message and 'from' data into the transaction for payment details

    the receiver is anonymous to everyone but the sender as for each payment a temporary one-time address is generated

    potential to cancel/retract a transfer if it is not accepted in a timely manner, which is impossible for any other transaction. To prevent chargeback the receiver simply wipes his temporary one-time address

    simplifies accounting in the wallet

    generates higher fees and dividends

Cons:
Daniel also listed the basic drawbacks of his approach which are namly:

    Uses more space in the blockchain

    Requires two transactions

    Results in higher fees

Optimized Algorithm
However the first drawback go resolved quickly by the use of hierachical extended public keys.
The basic approach can be seen from Daniels pseudocode:
    dan   => DANS_EXT_PUBLIC_KEY
    scott => SCOTTS_EXT_PUBLIC_KEY

    scott:  Generate OneTimePrivateKey & OneTimePublicKey Pair
    scott:  OneTimePrivateKey * DANS_EXT_PUBLIC_KEY => SECRET
                DANS_EXT_PUBLIC_KEY.child( SECRET ) => RECEIVE_PUBLIC_KEY => RECEIVE_ADDRESS
    scott:  RECEIVE_PUBLIC_KEY * SCOTTS_EXT_PRIVATE_KEY => CHECK_SECRET
                                                        => SHORT_HASH(CHECK_SECRET) == SHORT_SIGNATURE
    scott-broadcast:   OneTimePublicKey + RECEIVE_ADDRESS + ENCRYPT( from scott + SHORT_SIGNATURE, SECRET )
    dan:   OneTimePublicKey * DANS_EXT_PRIVATE_KEY => SECRET
              DANS_EXT_PRIVATE_KEY.child( SECRET ) => RECEIVE_PRIVATE_KEY =>
                             => RECEIVE_PUBLIC_KEY => RECEIVE_ADDRESS
    dan:   DECRYPT( data, SECRET ) => "from scott" + SHORT_SIGNATURE
    dan:   SCOTT_EXT_PUBLIC_KEY * RECEIVE_PRIVATE_KEY => CHECK_SECRET => SHORT_HASH(CHECK_SECRET)
This is a variation of stealth addresses (http://www.coindesk.com/stealth-addresses-secret-bitcoin-privacy )   that leverages the
name system to solve the first part of the problem.
Thus, the protocol allows to

    Send Anonymously To Any Name => SATAN

    or Transfer Invisibly to Any Name  => TITAN

Combining this with well-known techniques like CoinJoin (darkcoin) or ring-signatures allowes to completely send and also receive
anonymous transaction
Furthermore, these recent updates shed light to the power of Keyhotee as then
the use of name@xts can address individuals or DACs.

Both XC and DARK should do well, despite the idiotic impact their partisan trolls are having in driving potential buyers away.

We need a couple anonymity coins using different methods. We don't want all our eggs in one basket if/when some vulnerability appears. So consumers, businesses and so forth should welcome the competition and support all serious anonymity coins. No FUD, just duke it out competitively and may the best coins win.

Darkcoin has a great name and logo. The downside to Darkcoin, slightly, is the name itself, as is bit scary for some. As it is for the Darknet it really doesn't matter much though, and I think it has great branding. The DRK master nodes are a great idea as well but will require networking experts only, or they will be hacked as we have already seen. I am confident Evan and his new team will be successful in time with the tech and get everything working smoothly. Instamine for DRK, or XC using some temp code, whatever, the end results for each coin are what counts most.

The advantage XC could have is if the Xnodes end up more user friendly or more secure. If they do, and everyone can run an Xnode, that could increase demand and scarcity for XC. Certainly most can't afford to run a Darknode and most lack the skill, so to me this could increase the popularity of XC. XC does has an innovative coder that *is* making something entirely new. (using existing tech in innovative ways) The next phase being tested now is what will matter. Not the mixer that isn't that special obviously. (isn't that special for DRK either, without everything else)

Dark has a big lead, but also a very inflated market cap. It has farther to fall it something goes really wrong. XC *potentially* could gain more if it ends up with a comparable or superior solution. Is Evan a better coder than Dan? Is Dan more creative? Who knows... Dan has 20 years experience and seems fully capable though. I have worked with small teams of creative techs, and underestimating his abilities is likely an error some are making. Evan has a had a lot of time to polish things up and make it not as sloppy as it was when it started. Besides, if Dan wasn't for real he would have already given up. He doesn't seem to be giving up at all.

Anyway, Darkcoin already sort of won, so, more a matter of if XC will win as well.

Well said. The FUD really hurts both coins in the end. It drives away new people and creates blowback.
