ExtremePool Update

There are several miners still not mining with valid DuckNote Address's, this causes issues for everyone with payouts.

I will create and update list of miners with invalid address's that I have blocked until the miner contacts me via pm and informs me they are ready to follow the instructions on the site http://duck.extremepool.org and mine with a valid AEON address, at which point I will again allow your IP address to the pool.

List of miners currently blocked by mining address and IP address.

duckNote devs team do have the plan. 1. Latest improvements from Bytecoin -> to  duckNote 2. Marketing after more duckNotes will be mined/ 3. GUI and web wallets aka remote wallets. 4. Lots of "easy start" stuff.
You have flooded the market with a copied coin, which is fine. But you have no ideas or plan of your own. Surely you can come up with one original idea yourself?
Also your choice of 8.5 Billion coins could work, but not when you have no ideas of your own, nothing to set it apart, and with this particular emission curve. It wont be worth mining soon, if it even still is.
Now we have the unworkable situation where the difference between the bid and ask is 33%, which means there will be little liquidity. If you didn't have this ridiculous amount of notes you would have put the "community" in this situation.
The coin will die before you ever get to "marketing it".
You only hope is to change the emission curve and to do it soon. Or to come up with your own ideas that will capture peoples imagination.

Ducknote is NOT a copy.  It is an improvement.  Number time:

Note orphan rates

Monero: 642 Unlocked 182 Orphaned (28%) (http://mro.extremepool.org/#pool_blocks)
Quazar: 300 Unlocked 80 Orphaned (27%) (http://qcn.extremepool.org/#pool_blocks)
Ducknote: 895 Unlocked 12 Orphaned (1%) (http://duck.extremepool.org/#pool_blocks)

not that I agree with the poster bashing ducknote, but those stats don't mean anything as those are just stats that I move daily to an archive folder.
tomorrow it could say monero 700 and ducknote 100 depending on when I clear the stats.

I was making a point about orphans, sorry I was unclear.  I updated my post accordingly.

not that I agree with the poster bashing ducknote,
Do you disagree? Or do you just not agree?

Has anyone got anything of substance to say about this coin/note?

if you want details on the coin, its future, its past, read the thread and also the dev, dnote might be able to answer any specific questions.

pump/.
Hard to see how there will be a  pump. The coin is just about dead now by the look of things.  At this price it would not take much to revive the coin but not much happening.

I think that one solution is to reduce the number of coins. Otherwise other CN coins will likely show up and this one will be left behind

Give ducknote some time to stabilize... miners are dumping all their previously mined coins.  It's only been on exchanges for a few days.

Also, if they reduce the number of coins, they would also have to reduce the amount in everyone's wallet, otherwise early adopters would have a very distinct advantage.  And if they reduce everyone's wallet, yes, the price will go up, but that wouldn't help anyone, as it was a neutral trade off.

The problem is that if something is not done more CN coins might appear and they could steal the show.

That would still help because one big problem is that here we have run out of decimal places. This means that the spread between the buy price and the sell price is too big in percentage terms, which is bad for liquidity.

That wont matter if it saves the coin.

Another possibility is to change the emission curve. Reduce the number of coins being released at the moment.
At the moment we have too many coins being released and it is clearly not working very well.

There are still 60 people mining ducks at extremepool...

But unless they do a 1:10 split with some kind of fork...
This 2 sat coin will be delisted... and will die.

A reverse split is done with penny stocks all the time...
To keep them liquid and trading.

have a great fun.
Dev, what are the chances of doing a split so we have less coins and more liquidity?
What about changing the emission curve or even reducing the number of coins?

my lovely duck i will keep mining you until the last halving and 1 year more  Grin

i am not concentrated on the finger showing me the direction (read BCN), i do not want to lost all the heavenly glory (read BCN and ducknote success), and i am water, my friend (keep on flowing).

All haters, go away to your Monero topics - the most angry community i`ve ever seen. First i was a supporter of Monero, but all of that rude monero trolling wearied me, too many anger, such a poor results. Make love, not war.

duckNote is a great coin with great future, just look at emission curve and other network specs, also look at duckNote popularity in Asia, especially in China, i hope marketing will include growing Asia markets, and i believe it will.

If Ducknote was popular it would be going up in price. Ducknote is going down in price, which means it is not popular.
If Ducknote falls any further it may get de listed.

Now ducknote may be a good coin, and I think it is,  but that wont matter if it goes down and gets de listed.
So the important thing is to make sure that doesn't happen.
Ducknote is also very very cheap, but that wont matter either if it gets delisted
