The wallet reports difficulty not hash rate. It needs to be converted using a formula.

and the formula is in index.html.

I believe the manual payout is because someone is using a bad wallet address.  So the pool operator has to manually clean it out to process payments. 

It has nothing to do with the DUCK dev picking an already used ticker symbol.

hey dnote, on #2 are you referring to this line in the pool code?  "transferFee": 5000000000,

if so what should that # be?

guess it is, i did not look at pools source code, but looks like withdraws from pool coming with default MRO fee = 50. So yes try to change  "transferFee" to lower values, like 100000000 - that should make 1 [duck] fee. Or you can do even less, as you wish.
