Why would anyone lose faith in Kiwi so soon? You guys have been doing nothing wrong at all, unlike many of the new coins released in the same past week or so. But I want to know, as someone who is not as tech savvy, what do these features do exactly? Automatic Checkpointing KiwiCoin URI Scheme Time Travel Reduction

Cool update.
Hi kmodovpm, We are about to update the main post with that info, you beat us to it But for people that are interested right now the updates include the following; Automatic CheckpointingInstead of updating and pushing new code every time we want to add a new block checkpoint we can add this which means no more having to recompile new wallets/code every time we want to add a new checkpoint. This will allow us to defend against TW attacks and 51% attacks to the network. It does however introduce some centralization to the system. This is unfortunate, but can be easily rolled back when the coin is mature enough. KiwiCoin URI SchemeAdding this allows users to add "kiwicoin:kiwicoinaddresshere" links to your websites etc and when you click on it, it will open up a payment box to the address listed etc. Time Travel ReductionReduces the ability for attackers to try and force on very old blocks or very new block to try and change difficulty adjust behaviour. The ability to warp the blockchain time and also been limited. Blocks submitted more than 15 minutes outside of the blockchain's time will be rejected and other nodes cannot affect blockchain time by more than 14 minutes.

We have flicked them an e-mail awaiting a reply back We also realize that we are at the very early stages of a new coin and still trying to get more and more people to adopt Kiwi. We are working on it, as we said our marketing/design dev is currently busy with his new born but should be back as soon as he can. In the mean while we are working as hard as we can to push out exciting new things for everyone! We have seen a price plummet, but don't worry guys that doesn't deter the fact that we still want this to be great, to be huge even. We are still 100% commited to making this what it could be!I don't want to sound like a jerk, as I do support you. But I have been mining since launch, I have paid a lot on rentals since launch. I have been buying Kiwi from 5000 sat till 2500 sat (and am out of btc). I am in your IRC and here and rarely see anything going on. Maybe you shouldn't have planned to launch a coin on your wife's due date. But even so, I am a professional and I went right back to work the day after my children were born. Enough with the excuses, get to work getting your coin noticed, marketed, and out there so people will buy it. If not this was all for nothing. There are too many new coins and plenty of alternatives to mine or buy other than Kiwi, so you'd better start making it happen, or it never will.

Hi there, We completely understand where you are coming from, hence we have released the next update date and info as per post above. We understand that things could've gone better but are trying to make things right. We are active nearly 24/7 and committed to being one with the community as such and hope we have proved that so far. Hopefully with the new update and iOS/android wallet sneaks peaks to be released shortly that will bring some support back to us!

Getkiwi - If you are located in Auckland i can help you market your coin.
Send me a PM if you're interested.
Remember that theres a bunch of competition out there and people are always looking out to a better alternative.
You need to get noticed by the media in New Zealand if you want this coin to be successful. Remember, nowadays launching a new coin is three times as hard because competition always comes out with something new. This is what Kiwicoin needs to do. Kiwicoin needs to come up with something new and actually implement it.
Im not sure how big your team is but it seems like its not enough and you need help.
Kiwicoin has a lot of potential if developed with the right people. That being said, theres been people solo launching coins that simply go to waste because they dont have a different perspective due to their limited knowledge.
You're the first New Zealand coin. Keep it that way. Competition is always closer than you think.
As mentioned before,
Kiwicoin has a lot of potential.

Hi mineriqui, Sorry none of us are from Auckland but we would still love to hear from you, flick us a pm? We understand there is huge competition out there and are a bit on the backhand at the moment so to speak because of launch and one dev being away. We are currently in talks with a save the kiwi program to setup some sort of way to donate KIWI to help. We understand we need some more news attention and are hoping this will help bring some to us. Our team is rather small, but we are always interested in adding/collaborating with others or even joining the team so to speak. So if you or anyone is else please send us a pm! We are trying our best possible to remain active with the community and gather ideas and implement them, things are just going a bit slower than we would have liked. This is the main topic of talk with the other devs tonight. We have pushed out the release date for the next wallet/update so hopefully a few people like it, but we aren't stopping there. We understand that the crypto market is ever changing and evolves on a day to day basis, even hourly some times and need to be on top and that's what we are striving for. We thank you for your feedback, and understand your concerns/suggestions and are taking them on board. In the meantime we hope you will continue to follow/mine KIWI and hopefully send us a pm if you are interested in talking. Regards, Team at KiwiCoin

This coin is not scam coin. It is good great X11 coin. Developer is honest person who, first of all bought a logo with btc, unlike other scamers around that doesn invest anything. They want to make a bussiness, but they do not want to invest even single satoshi in it. I like behaviour of developer, i like logo, i like coin strategy, and i decided to fully support this coin. All my rigs are on this coin, cos i believe in it. Even i changed my signature. Here is my proof: Get all on xHash.net to mine together, you will not regret. stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3375 user: worker.something pass: something http://xhash.net/index.php?coin=kiwicoin&page=gettingstarted

Kiwicoin is probably one of the more promising coins released in the past week that is being lead in the right direction. I am surprised the price dropped so low, but I am guessing it is because the coin is still new and not many unique features have been implemented yet. But we can all see that his dev is working very hard and investing time and money into developing kiwicoin. Difficulty is very low right now so I am pointing my rigs back at kiwi, despite the price drop. Still holding
