i have been buying all the small orders i can over on cryptsy when posa comes out this coin could test the .01 waters for the first time.
My target is 0.07 for all planned releases going relatively smoothly. Will re-evaluate along the way It is a long term project for me. All in means nothing or everything. I will not sell my Cloaks, maybe it is a 2-3 years project, but... BTW: I want to make an official multipool for Cloak. I sent a PM to TheDagger, but he didn't replied to me. Waiting for his answer. I want to make a donation project for this. Multipool costs about 150 dollar/month. It is a litle bit much, but if we have we can make another countinous buying pressure to the market. I think there will be 2% fee, 1% for mainentance, and 1% to the dev team donation address. Waht is your opinion for this? I would be down to split some of the costs with you. I'm sure others would do the same as well. Do you have any experience setting up multipools?

Here is the prices: http://www.livechains.net/LivePool.htmlI can admin this pool, but they watching the pool too. Cloak is on Cryptsy so everything can be automated. Or I can make the trades manually. I thinking about it, that I make a one month beta(test) phase. The most important thing, that we need about 150 dollar from the 1% fee, because that is the monthly mainentance fee.

Our dedicated multipool it will be just Cloak payments.

Multipool costs about 150 dollar/month. It is a litle bit much,
Multipool costs much bigger; 500$+ for me. Do you remember that you need not only pool-server but also big server(i had entire cluster) for 40-50 coin-wallets?

We don't need 40-50 coins. 10 coins enogh in my opinion. ANd I can change only the 10 most profitable. (X11 and scrypt multiport)

(X11 and scrypt multiport) I operated multipool march-june this year(scrypt, nscrypt, x11) and i can say that for relatively small hashpower(up to 1 scrypt Gh) most profitable were small coins with 30-50Mh average hashrate; they were 40-100% more profitable than best multipools for that time.

I helped Gnu_User test the BlackCoin multipool right after Radioactive had his meltdown in IRC.
my advice?
not worth it, not unless there's insane amounts of interest and hashing power.
I'd recommend going with a 3rd party like coinking, if they can set you up for cheaper than what you'd pay to build your own, it'd be worthwhile to gauge interest.
if it takes off, then build your own and move people there, again that's super risky.
The issue with the blackcoin pool was it going down occasionally for upgrades and maintenance. miners don't give 2 flying fucks about features and a better interface.
They care about it working, getting consistent payouts, and never going down.
BlackCoinPool had almost 20 GH scrypt at one point, then they decided to take it down for a few days to apply changes, and it was 5 GH, then people see others leaving, then they leave, it's a downward spiral.
IMO, whatever you guys go with, just make sure that it works and will never go down, multipools can grow and grow and grow, people feed off of every new user coming on, the moment they all get disconnected, it'll never be the same.
