Number of wallets seen on the network increased again.  Continues to increase each day little by little...

can you show us where you're seeing this number please?

dj,

On the block explorer rich list, select "0" and it shows every wallet currently listed that has a balance.  When I started tracking it, we had about 450 less wallets.

It's a good tool that no one really checks out.

http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/richlist/index.php?min=0

Right now the block explorer isn't populating correctly at the moment.  Not sure if it's updating or what.  Anywho, that's what I use.

Cheers.

How does it know which addresses belong to the same wallet?

I have just a general hypothetical to bounce off you guys.  How well do you guys think OneMarket will do assuming things go sort of as planned?  Assuming decentralized listings, anonymity, all those sort of things working technically.  It seems the problem right now with launching anything is getting people to actually switch to it and use it instead of what they are currently using.  With OneMarket, there is the additional burden on the user to acquire CLOAK to buy anything.  This is not easy for your average Joe.  Will people actually do this?

It doesn't.  It goes by addresses, not wallets.

Edit:  Damn.  I'm falling down the rich list.  Guess I better buy more cloak!

Will  Openbazzar also use 10.000 Wallets to build a market? Or will it be on a platform online? Anyone knows more about it?

Thats why One Market is so interesting in my opinion, its build buy computers all around the world who have their wallet online.

May have been a hiccup, I've noticed the block explorer does report wrong numbers from time to time...  Probably updating...

i think its because of the high volume selloff at the beginning on mintpal and the low volume run up..
buying now is bit dangerous because nearly all of the few people didn't cash out their profit, it was not spread enough on high volume.. thats my concern

isn't this a problem for almost all coins that there are just a hand full of big wallets holding more coins than the rest together?
