First off, let me state that I hold a ton of Cloak... but I don't know about you guys, I'm taking a serious look at ShadowCoin. They have already released ShadowChat (instant p2p encrypted messaging). They are releasing ShadowSend (anonymous transactions via uniquely implemented dual-key stealth addresses soon to be layered with zk-snarks) this Thursday. And they just announced the first-ever fully scalable & fully functional mobile PoS wallet, to be released Tuesday 8/12/14. Damn it! Was going to buy a few of those when I saw it at 25,000 2 hours ago lol >.< Missed the boat again! lol... same here  Im just gonna buy more cloak... lol can't loose! But I would dearly love to buy even more cloak than I can right now, Shadow looks like it has the legs to make that happen - doesnt seem too expensive either, compared to last week of activity. True that. Lets pump SDC then dump at the top and buy more CLOAK. Hope they don't hate us when it happens. |

Cloak appears to be having somewhat of a correction anyway, nice time to jump ships for a bit and make some BTC. God knows how high SDC could go from here, seen some wacky things in the crypto world these past few months. I think its more likely however that we will see SDC double in price before Cloak doubles. Looks like the money is flowing into SDC and out of Cloak right now - follow the money and ride the waves! Could go terribly wrong but hey, gotta take a gamble every now and then! |

The price isn't a whole lot different than it was several days ago. Although I would say there is too much talk of other coins going on here. I usually check this thread to see what is going on with Drk. Now I guess it'll be SDC. Shame there isn't a thread around here solely dedicated to Cloak. |

I wouldn't doubt it if Dagger drops the news on PoSA release before Shadowcoins anon target release date.
Everyone is jumping on the shadow wagon... I'm not... Cloak will have PoSA out soon enough and the main kicker will be One Market. Even with Shadowcoin's anon and encrypted messaging, it won't beat an online market place in the long run.....
Coin flipping is too much like day trading... You can get your ass burned real quick and 95% of the pops fizzle out.
I respect Shadowcoins tech and effort. But at the current price, whales could easily manipulate it up and dump.
Cloak is holding it's own after several dumps, that shows for community and everyone knows the bottom line value of what's ahead.

Also, just to give everyone an idea of where we are in the long term, here's Bittrex's chart from the beginning. Notice there are now 3 "channels." One at the beginning, one during the MintPal phase and one we have now entered. Usually, we'll stay in a channel until we reach a "channel breakout" point. What causes this? Could be news (e.g. Cloak being released on MintPal). Could be a lot of things. The point is not to get too caught up in the short term prices unless you're high frequency day trading and look at where Cloak is long term. Things you want to be aware of is whether Cloak breaks this new channel on the high side or the low side (e.g. < 200, or does it go > 270?). Until something of that nature happens, it's just noise and normal fluctuation as we continue to develop this channel.  |

HoldTheLine you are aware that this coin someone else bought in huge quantities , but for prices 1500 - 4000s, you missed the train a long time ago https://c-cex.com/?p=sdc-btc ,good luck to you Relax.. no need to bash shadowcoin. It's not even a direct competitor to cloak. I even picked up a few. |
