Any particular reason why this coin has suddenly increased in price by almost 5x in 1 night? Were there some announcements? I bought it at its peak at 400 satoshis and it went down to 100.... Then its back to 900 now so I just sold it... Just wondering any reason

I will.  It takes 2 minutes to research what coinjoin is and that you can already send Bitcoins and a bunch of other coins using coinjoin. Do you guys realize how bad you are getting scammed.  Voot isn't even close to the first coin using this technology and they are claiming to be the first decentralized anon coin.  Bitcoin uses this anon technology for fucks sake.  Wake the hell up people.

I don't care about what coins you FUD or don't FUD.  I'm someone interested in the crypto community at large and I hate scams.  You don't realize how frauds like VOOT destroy the crypto community.  It's not the "First Decentralized Anon". It's not even anon yet and it won't be decentralized when it is.  It won't even be close to the first anything. It's not innovative technology they are using.
