From my perspective, it's just another P&D coin, just disguised

"No Premine"... forced mining on dev's pools. 1% premine....with the potential of the dev taking them all once it gets listed somewhere.

dev will take 1% of PoW coins in 7 days, which is 30k minerals, thats the amount of premine which is used for bounty or something, its reasonable amount

I personally don't think 1% is reasonable, but that's subjective. The point is it's being advertised as a 0% premine, which is just semantics at best. A premine by any other name...

1. 1% pool fee is 1% premine, because people have no choice, such as supernova pool which have 0 fee
2. the limit per worker of 50M Hash doesn't do the job as advertised at all, big farms are still mining it.

These are not big farms but people mining with multiple workers, each hashing with no more than 50 MH/s.
Btw, suprnova has changed fees to 1% Smiley

Only on old pools.. new pools are always 0% fee on suprnova...

oh and please don't bring in suprnova into this thread again.. i'm not hosting this coin, nor do i support it

sorry for bringing up supernova, the original intent is that supernova is a positive pool compared with the pools here.
I will not bring it up again in this coin.

the only solution is to limit the total hash, not ip or worker, who come late simply can't mine

because even with ip ban, they may use proxy, vpn, others crap

if you limit total network hash, there is a possibility only big miners farm that can enter, the solution is to use new algorithm

I was only going to mine this coin because 50 MH cap seemed reasonable.  Now that there isn't 1 person even close to 50 MH, I will stay away from this.

How are some of the miners WAYYY above 50Mh on the pool stats page?
Multiple rigs under the same account. We are going to turn on limits per IP, it is not perfect either but it should be a bit more difficult to have multiple rigs.

its name is not "premine" but mining fee, just like when u sign up to pool, but the problem here is that mining fee are solely goes to dev, and pool operator does not given this oppurtunity

another solution is to ban anyone with 50mh/s(it doesn't matter if he used more workers or not, just ban the damn dude with 50+ mh/s) this should be done directly from the pool owner

for example this dude MiMiMiner at euro pool, the pool operator should ban him along with the others above the limit

We should appreciate the fact that at-least Dev is trying to curb the menace of multipools and big farm owners who  destroy a new coin just after their birth.

Proof or GTFO.

So many trolls already. Why are you wasting your time hating a coin that just launched? Seriously.. can't you troll on 4chan or some random IRC?

Trolling? not on bittrex yet.

And about the hash rate limit.  Sooo there is a worker with over 900 MH/s on my pool.  That is just a slap in the face to this idea of limiting workers.  So either release the source and let people solo mine too and avoid all these problems or do something that ACTUALLY does limit the BIG miners or its all just a show.

Same... I was following this since the beggining, I love the idea and moreover have been playing stacraft since '98 but the limit in hashrate is not really working. And I'm not blaming dev it's just I don't really see how he could do differently. Maybe as said banning account that mine over 50Mhs? I don't know. Otherwise it is not worth it for me, diff is going up to fast... I'll stick around a bit but I will stop mining this if no solution is found. If a tournament is hosted I will participate though Wink
