we are thinking of limiting account to 1 worker. So we can delete all workers except 1 for every account and prevent creating more then 1 worker per account. 50 Hh/s limit per worker will persist
What do you guys think?
Miners with these experimental PCIE FPGA boards maybe? What to they do? 20 mh/board? Really? What's the name of this board?Where to buy? I read about it here: https://bitcointa.lk/threads/x11-fpga-is-here-betarigs-mining-rig-1713-3x-phaethon-pci-e-fpga-board.322979/I've tried looking for this on google and such to no avail. Probably prototype board being tested...

its upto the devs to do their job and actively ban big hashers untill the coin has the capacity to handle big hashers. which it proberly wont

Could you please tell me before you do that. I have like 5 small rigs each with 5 mgh on 5 different workers and i dont want to see that I am screwed in the morning. I took seriously your words that you gonna punish the big farms but i see only big farms in the pools (hundreds of mgh/s). What is that? I dont like that. I feel betrayed. We will announce it here, at every pool news page and on twitter at least an hour before we do worker removal Stay tuned, we will soon announce that

50 mh/s per ip would limit hash more imo, but 1 worker per account would be another barrier. you can't limit per ip, since there are people behind proxy, or dont have public IP, their IP will use their ISP public IP, and then limiting per IP will make betarigs.com, leaserigs, nicehash.com not operational, there are small miner who dont have huge mining farm rent rigs from there, its just injustice for small miners That was my point. It limits rental hash. To be honest, I'm renting a bunch of hash to mine this with many workers. If he limits it 1 per account, I could just create more accounts. yup more account cant be limited, but you need an effort to register an account for each 50 mhs, and the stat on pool will looks better , no one more than 50 mhs

What if you have 2 rigs? Mining with 280X's here. I'm nowhere near 50MH with that. Miners with these experimental PCIE FPGA boards maybe? What to they do? 20 mh/board? Register another account like everyone will do. (if it will be 1 worker limit). -- Atleast with this idea "numbers" will be ~50Mh/s or less. https://i.imgur.com/sQehNrW.png

We are working on limiting big miners right now It will be ready in few hours
I suggest big miners to quit mining Minerals or you'll be losing hashpower soon
What will you do with the coins they have made? they will not be making coins, just more rejected shares I know, but what will happend with the coins they have made until they get the rejected shares? A fair thing would be to take all coins they've made that exceeded 50mh/s and spread them around all the other miners.

Lets put this into perspective
A total of 1 500 000 coins have been mined already
and i guarentee 90% of them have gone to only 20 or 30 arse holes
So well done this is a dump coming your way in one go no doubt about it
at least a million coins will be dumped and thats enough for me to call it quits.
Like I said good idea but there is nothing else holding up this coin other than
a fair distribution, with 1 500 000 coins unfairly mined.
960 blocks do the math.
If you want this coin to have any kind of future you will cut those farmers before 1000 blocks
or this will be a short lived coin, Korea and gamers will not be able to hold this coin up on their
own.

We don't want to liberate any coins from the rich What mined belongs to those who mined it. Just want to limit big hashers and make the ditribution fair.

I agree but the launch was a bit flawed if you consider the 50Mh/s per worker not per IP, dev should have made this clearer. It's too late to change now, if you change now it's just gonna screw the smaller miners more since the bigger miners already have instamined.

WOW......jumped on here as soon as I got home to get some updates expecting to turn some mining hash onto this coin. The entire appeal to this coin for me was the promise of a more fair distribution of the coin due to the promises of limiting individual hash power. Seems like what was attractive to this coin failed big time!
Gotta pass on this one, just glad I missed the start. I think this one is doomed for failure as it failed it's biggest promise. This doesn't even deserve to hit an exchange, some will make decent money on dumping their HUGE mines and those that buy them will suffer a loss on a coin that is destined to disappear.
Good luck everyone!

I will give it 24hrs to limit per IP per account, then again whats going to happen to people that double dip when they withdraw their coins. ie multiple accounts cashout to one wallet address ? once the pow is over ?

Not all of the first 1000 blocks went to the big miners. Remember there are 50m coins, so even if the full 1.5m went to the big miners there are still 48.5m coins to go to "fair" distribution should hash rate be limited further.
