KingBB, did you put the conf file in the appdata/roaming/GoldReserve directory (if you use Windows)? Did you name the conf file goldreserve.conf? Wallet should work without conf file, you should wait like 5-10 minutes in the first time to sync...
Hi , i know , all other wallet works well without conf file. I made one with data from first page , and ut it in C:\Documents and Settings\xp\Application Data\GoldReserve folder, this is XP windows on VM. But it always keep back to some default address like one in log file Any idea ?

Although, if you use a virtualMachine did you give internet permission to that as well? Thats all I can think of...

Hey everyone! People ask me to give easier way to contribute, donate to GoldReserve. Some prefer to be known as a donor. If you have such an intension, please check the fist post Donation section.
You can donate by using https://www.startjoin.com/GoldReservecoin but you have to register at startjoin to do that, with facebook or with email address. (no one will see your details even if you donate!) Or you can simply send your donation to the 2 donation accounts (BTC,XGR) and leave a message at www.goldreservecoin.com, and I happy to create a donor list with your names in it! (only if you give permission)

COINMINERS Server will be down for 1h , we need to migrate the server to a new one so we can solve the disconnecting problem , the problem was on the serve side, we spoke with the hosting company and they said that they need to move my server to a new one , so COINMINERS will have 1h downtime until the server will be moved to new one.
I apologize for the inconvenience created

I tried without it and it did not sync. After I put the goldreserve.conf to doc and settings\<username>\application data\goldreserve it worked! Please make sure that you use the name goldreserve without capital letters, like goldreserve.conf.

Can you PLEASE host the windows wallet somewhere other than mediafire and put it on the first page? Downloading with Chrome is impossible since it reports that the file is malicious. I'm sure plenty of interested people have gone to download it and just don't bother after getting that report in the browser.

Ok, I do not think it is the host (mediafire) the problem, but I put it in a different location. It is zipped so it should not have any problem with any browser.
