Why is it we can withdraw BTC but can't deposit? While everyone else gets to pull out I can't put more in.

Because of the  disgusting marketing environment ，as you see ,the BTC price is more and more low in those days and the NXT event unexpectedly today ，  I had to say the chance of launching XCR badly,so even if very  excellent effort from my devs,I also had to say regrettably the coin has failed because of some outer issue not controlling by people. just expect that the market will be better day and day.

I confess I have withdrawn BTC from BTER until the vector of the attack is known and protected against. With a heavy heart I sold my XCR cheaply and withdrew BTC. We need to know more about this hack. But it will only delay XCR.

Yes they are processing withdrawals. I acted (withdrawing BTC) out of an abundance of caution but the trader who wants to buy whilst Crypti is cheap may be acting optimally in the medium to long term. I am rethinking the position but may with hindsight have made a serious error as I lost a non-trivial amount of BTC by selling XCR cheaply.

It is not bad luck, it is exchanges playing dirty tricks on us - again. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Announce removal of coin but once everyone panic and sell cheap (to you) just change your mind and resume coin trading.
2. Temporaly run into problems with coin withdrawals, same outcome as 1.
3. End up "hacked" by yourself to stir the shit up and cause everyone to panic, same outcome as 1.

Problem is that people see exchanges as good players but they are provably the most corrupted part of cryptocoin ecosystem.

We will keep you posted as we get word from BTER on the status. Unfortunately, this will cause a delay as SyRenity said, so we will adapt as always.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who is still here and has stuck with us. It has been a crazy ride already but I know it will pay off big in the end.

In the meantime, we aren't just sitting around and waiting. We will take this time for extra security testing ourselves and also to work on a few other things until we get the green light from BTER.

I concur. Crypti price is getting creamed following the NXT hack of BTER. Fantastic buying opportunities await but I still want to know that the hack vector has been shut down before buying in again.
