Bter mainnet integration update Bter have made great progress in integrating and testing the mainnet node today. Unfortunately the lead developer is now on a 12 hour transatlantic flight and had to pause implementation.
That sounds very fishy! We want Bter to monitor the launch with us and be available in case of any issues. I'd like to remind that original launch was planned to Friday, and both we and Bter team had allocated time for that, which was interrupted by the unexpected set of events. I understand, but for the main BTER dev to leave his job for a day during current situation (the hack etc) sounds not really reasonable. The Hack may be the very reason he is on a business trip. If they are going to prosecute the hacker, someone has to make a report/complaint to the police in the country the hacker lives in. So you send your Lead Dev?

Or this was a business trip the lead Dev had plan for after the launch... As stated there was unforeseen events (aka Hack) that throw things off schedule... So launch will be soon... I'm in crypti for the long term... Not just the first 3 days of launch for a quick Bitcoin or 2...

Yes, someone, like a lawyer or the president of BTER, but not the main developer!

You would need to supply the police with evidence of the crime, which in this case, includes electronic records. You would also need someone that understands the program that was hacked and the way it was hacked, as well as to be able to communicate with the police in their language. Additional information would have likely need to be downloaded from the Bter server to the police computer. Do you send the intern instead?

And now, because of those delays, the wallet is delayed again, because we are reliant on a 3rd party whose first priority is not Crypti.
As mentioned before, we are working on introducing more exchanges, after the initial launch with Bter. This will ensure there is more ongoing trading for Crypti, while we move forward with Crypti business and technological development. really do not know what times to launch, what times to bter solve NXT,this project delay to long times.

All I can see is that the RECENT TRADES shows the last activity on 16 AUG. 2 days old. Likely undergoing some resetting or maintenance of the NXT wallets

However I'm sure any number of people are fully capable of making such a report if they are working as a Dev at a well known exchange such as BTER.

IPO relay= Better IPO plan
Debatable Wallet delay 1= Better PoS algo on mainnet
That just means it was always incorrect, and only found on mainnet. It should have been caught on testnet. It's not like there were suddenly thousands of functional wallets on the mainnet that weren't available on testnet. Wallet delay 2= Safer exchange
We'll see. If the wallet was released on the 10th we all trade for a few days... price moves up the charts quickly... The hacker comes in and says while I'm here I will steal 50 million XCR as well...
XCR being stolen was not an issue. The hacker only had the password for the NXT wallet. No other coins were ever in danger. The fact that Crypti doesn't have a wallet was never a factor in safeguarding the coins. This was not a miraculous save on the precipice of disaster. Anyone who says it is is fooling themselves, or trying to hype Crypti.

Having been in top management of some large projects, I can relate to sending over the highest ranking man available to get the job done. The highest ranking employee will have the authority and knowledge to make the decisions that would be necessary to fix the problem. Send an underling, and they would be constantly calling HQ for advice and decisions. When there is a 12 hour time zone difference, this can be crippling to a project. When you want it fixed NOW, you send in the BIG GUNS.

Another thing to look at is the fact that Bter and the Crypti Devs want the Bter lead Dev involved in the Crypti launch... Bter isn't just putting any tech they have available in charge of the Crypti launch... as it should be...

ok. with this new delay, that means i'm going to be in the middle of the desert, with no communication, when the wallet launches, and for several days after.
is that a problem? can my XCR just sit in BTER for a while?

Yes, as long as you have a secure password to your Bter account. Did you enable 2FA?
