I think that the general strategy for XCR  is to advertise the PoT forging. IT IS REALLY UNIQUE FEATURE.

Thanks for the suggestions, that said it only part of Crypti innovations, with custom blockchains (to be implemented in 0.2) will be the major differentiation.

One question.

Is it normal to see Forging enabled on your web wallet (serverip:6040), but no on the main web wallet(wallet.crypti.me)?

You can only enable forging for the Crypti nodes you actually hold (and also follow the rule of one account = one node).

Why on earth would anyone need 100 char password? ED25519 offers 128 bits security, which is equal to 22 character password (no special characters)

22 * log (62) /  log) (2) = 130  <-------- already larger than 128 with just 22 characters

We discussed it back at time, and decided that suggesting people to use a long password will help achieving the effect of a random password.

You however have a point here, and I have asked Bitseed to review and comment if shorter password length should be suggested.

How was the hash you posted generated?  What I mean is that usually you'll generate the hash with a private key.  So not knowing what the private key is, it would seem to make it next to impossible to figure out the password.  Or is there some "standard" way of generating the private key for these sorts of things, like another sha256 hash of something?  Don't know much about this sort of stuff.

Hash was generated by something like this .

http://onlinemd5.com/

It's SHA256.  So for example hash for "Fp7fq7aHSRNupa5" is 79641338EF8FFE97C337C023E6ECB2B35EF32B206A85E79C9131491052BE0F99

Cool, will be downloading some rainbow tables this weekend to see if any of them contain the hash.

hey, trying to install the dependancies on windows, but the ed25519 node-module doesnt seem to be buildable on my pc(windows Cool , is this an error on my end, or is the node-module really linux only?

That exactly why we launched with Docker as a temporary solution.

There should be a way to cross-compile from Linux to Windows, however we have not had the time to research it yet.
If all can be compiled, then we indeed can prepare a nice NSIS or InnoSetup one-click installer for the community.

it seems that a just a couple things need to be changed, openssl linking in bignum and ed25519 libraries (probably have to include openssl though) , and an array in the ed25519 library, that was not of a constant size(doesnt work in the windows compiler)

Was it before or after the launch? Because we reset the mainnet just prior to launch.
Also, what is your account?
