If NEM reaches 1$ i will tattoo NEM in my front. no haha just kidding, but i will tattoo NEM in less obvious part of my body lol.
I think we would need like a 9 billion market cap to achieve 1$ hehe.
Hey guys what's up with the smart contracts that supposedly NEM would have? similar to ETH, haven't seen any example of a NEM smart contract.

Yes this is very telling ... " We have converts from Ethereum and Bitcoin that were amazed at how easy it is to develop in NEM. For example, we put together a land title registry solution in less than five days, whereas we can see a competition who’d have an army of programmers to do similar things in months using the Bitcoin core technology. We also heard that this similar project would take 1 month to do in Ethereum."

ETH still does have much larger exposure, and even if NEM is superior in terms of ease of use, I still see a lot more projects being developed on ETH :p

Oxymoron. They see it as a technology challenge and satisfaction, while missing the forest for the trees, i.e., solve the damn real world problem instead of proving a point. Multisig in Eth is a mess. In NEM, it is simply KISS. 2 minute job, and it solves 75% of the requirements. No need any programming skills, just appreciation of the concept behind it.

I think the silver thing is still up in the air. I think they've been waiting for a certain price level to finance it. It's time it was knocked on the head once and for all. Most original stakeholders will be dead, cashed out, lost the keys or have undergone sex or personality changes by now.

Am i disqualified as a result my recent sex change sweetie? A ninja distribution of the fund to all original stakeholders with an announcement here would be nice. As you said, a lot are long gone which would be like a semi burn.

Not at all. I support your transition all the way but sadly one's interest in cryptocurrency gets lost in that hormonal swirl. Believe me, I know. I think we're kind of past doing anything involving original stakeholders any more. It would be too messy and complex.

If the silver/gold coin thing dosnt go ahead just send out the fund to the original stake holders just as they did with genesis block

People who failed to redeem coming out of the woodwork again. People who don't have access to their stake address any more having a moan. I don't think it sends a very forward looking message but I certainly wouldn't object all the same. Original stakeholders should be legends of the past.

Somewhat agree, it'd be cool to have the silvercoin project executed but I can see the problem of who's who of the stakeholders arise again. Maybe best just to roll it up into the community fund or lump it with the supernode program or what not. Foundation could also use it to better entice companies to develop on the platform... no shortage of ideas I guess. You can read a summary description of fund uses here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TKTIakxUEotmTN4Et80EI7d-8XifgFZ4aBUGAukgLfY/edit#heading=h.xchkdqowarsb
