blockchain is not a technology to protect and encrypt data transmission
but for example u could use the blockchain to send encrypted messages to someone and the message content could be a key that the reciever needs to establish a encrypted connection

still the session would not involve blockchain technology

just send the user the key would been

there is a view of the connection resource ( website, web pages ) through the API without using expensive security, using the server only for data storage, i.e. all the resources ( and precious resources, and blogs ) will have the same strong protection to the network blockchain, saving yourself from the disease, such as spam attacks, accidental shutdown of servers and so on

There's no reason for Kraken to add it. It's just another alt to them and there are others with much higher volumes. It's one of the best coins but they'll want something that makes them the most fees.
