Guys, i have tried to convince my girlfriend of 30 years. 30 years!  She says: No, i want Euro.
Guys, i have tried, a million times, but she says "no".  Do i have the most stupid girlfriend around now ?
She has her G6, and nothing can reach her.

I guess, i have to buy her a cappuccino now and then, but always with the remark: Man, you were so stupid back then . . .
I´m puting this as a message on the blockchain, just so she won´t forget that moment.
I myself, buying more XEM . . .

You are stupid for boasting to your girlfriend about how much money you earned with your crypto investments

You would not be the first to do that, and certainly will not be the last:

They mainly speak of SMS based 2FA for bank accounts. App based 2FA is much more secure and has nothing to do with that vulnerability.

You´re right, but still, i take comfort in the fact, that they all (serious exchanges and banks) would only send money to accounts in my name, and my name is not "Peter Meier", thanksfully  Smiley

NEM is awesome!

I am just concerned about one thing: I will be developing a solution on NEM, that will obviously require XEM to pay for transactions. My worry is that XEM might get so expensive, that it will negatively affect my business plan/financial projections.

I would like to see some formal communication from the NEM team on the price adjustment strategy for XEM as the price rises. Paying an annual fee of 5000 XEM for a namespace is starting to become quite a little bit of money.

I agree that the current fees are too high if the price stays where it is now. But it could also just be a spike and setle lower, who knows.
Thats why i would like to wait a bit more vs. updating fees every 2 months.

Sure, that makes sense. I was just wondering if there should be some formal process/guideline whereby the fees are determined, in a volatile environment? It will basically allow someone building a business case on it, to have some kind of guideline in terms of cost for customers as the price fluctuates. I am sure it will be very difficult to have such a guideline though. Just thinking aloud here Smiley

Both projects have great tech, DCR - POW/POS,  NEM - POI. DCR is (wants to be) also more like DASH or PIVX, NEM is more focused to enerprise. DCR has high inflation. I prefer NEM but DCR development is also remarkable. Both projects might have great future, you must decide what you prefer.

The 3.000.000 XEMS requirements to open a node sucks, A while ago after I finished configuring my server to open a node, just before launch was when I noticed my mistake for not reading the requirements.

Dont worry about a supernode for now, the main reason for supernode rewards is as an incentive to keep the network running until when the time arrives that there is enough network usage, that harvesting will reward enough for anyone Smiley

Don´t forget Japan (in fact, the whole east) for NEM. Adaption !
Finally, i´m in a project, that cares about adaption. It´s like: "coming home".

I have similar thoughts. Holding a small position in XEM and a very large position in DCR.
Thanks for the input.
