Last NEM block is 1204001. My last harvested block is 1155567. Is this too much time to wait? Before: 1155567 1134538 1133377 1130115 1127167

Check if your harvesting is active. If so, then it just "bad luck" atm. In the long run you will get the probabilistic amount of harvested block according to your POI.

The Nanowallet works like a charm, I've got most of my XEM stashed away on my nanowallet.
It's up to anyone on how to store the wallet access file/code. I keep a hardcopy / written down just in case an EMP goes off in my house.
Safe as safe can be.
Do you have NanoWallet.exe or start.html ? Start.html Why would it be an exe? It sets you up with a localhost site that connects you to a node of your choice. Technically it's a cloud wallet, and the wallet file/code acts as your entrycard, so together with your password it's very safe. A bandit or one-eyed pirate would need both the file and the password to gain entry. Not so easily done.

Only time will tell. Hackers are only interested in high value coins. When NEM reaches ETH price point, then we know hoe secure is NEM.

jkoil js client is available under 'universal client' button (below windows/mac/linux buttons). Everyone prefers js client but download link is not so exposed (I hope new webpage change this). Also nanowallet.exe from windows binary distribution from official page is not malware! Sleep well

well, that UNIVERSAL CLIENT is not an equal button as the buttons for different operating systems. So, it is not the first option, when searching something to be installed. Maybe not even the 4th option. For a newbie u know so much

I deleted what I installed with the NIS / NCC zip file.
Now, I wanted to install the nanowallet with the nanowallet zip file....
But now, the guide you shared with me does not match what I got after unzipping: "Download the NanoWallet from nem.io. Extract the zip file and double-click "start.html""
I don't see ANY "start.html".
But I see a nanowallet.exe, as with every other wallet that I installed on my computer. Cliking on it, send me to the windows I was searching for ever to be able to login / sign up.
So, clearly the tutorials are NOT up to date and create a lot of issues / frustration.
Now I am able to sign in...
So, I solve the different issues....
Now, as I wanted to send some XEM to the wallet, I see the the fee is 15 XEM !!!!! This is totally insane and way too high compared with other coins....
For someone have thousands of XEM this is acceptable, but not for small holders.
So, it seems that I did all that for nothing.
Noway I will loose 30 XEM (bcs my holding is splitted btw TREX and POLO) to put a few anyway in an online wallet (not a desktop wallet as I wanted it to be)
I am really not sure that this kind of experience and struggle to install for nothing will be a good think for new less familiar users of crypto.
Now, you will do what you want with all my comments... but this experience was not fun and does not make me want to be really more involved with XEM
Hope futur developments will be in favor of simplicity, local wallet, reducing drastically the fees to use the network
1) There 2 different kinds of Nano Wallets nowadays, one universal Nano Wallet running in the browser and one OS specific client runnning as standalone application. Seems you are using the latter. 2) 15 xem fee is way too much, i agree, but that has nothing to do with the minimum network fees, it is just set in stone by Poloniex et altera, so don't blame the nem community / devs.

Good news! 15 Million XEM should be sufficient as a decent starting point for raising awareness about NEM, though.

well that's some good news, finally what we've all been screaming about. I've always thought that we are in a critical time right now, we could lose our gains to some up and comer and be forgotten in a second because of how the market is. You can kind of already see that with the volume, 3 million is pathetic. So I'm glad they recognize that time is critical and are taking steps to improve our condition instead of ignore it.

I've been slowly accumulating NEM with what money I have spare at the end of each pay period (which is not all that much; I'm certainly no whale). Of all the various crypto I hold, NEM is one of the very few I hold the highest of hopes for.
