This one will be $100 coin when it wakes up. It's a sleeping giant.
1 or 2 usd would be fine for the first year now.. 100 usd dreams are just that, dreams. Bitcoin has to pave the way first. A 10 billion cap for XEM wouldn't surprise me though.

That would require nearly a 1 trillion dollar market cap. I think you are little too enthusiastic. But 10$ is possible in the near future if the NEM team keep up the good work!

Is anyone else having issues with NEM withdrawals on Poloniex? With all the liquidation rumors floating around I've decided to move my NEM from Poloniex to NEM wallet. I did a test run for 1K XEM and transfer went through without any issues. Then I've tried to transfer 100K and transaction was pending for several hours. I've opened a ticket with Poloniex - to which they still haven't responded. Eventually transaction status changed from pending to complete: error. Xem is not showing on my Polonex account and it hasn't been transferred to my wallet either. It seems to be stuck in Limbo. Since then I've tried contacting Poloniex and opened several tickets. It's been almost a week so I'm getting really worried. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Poloniex has some big technical problems since 2-3 months transferring all kind of coins, so it is not the problem of NEM! I heard of some guys who waited more than 3 weeks before they get their coins, I think they also have not enough employees to solve all the tickets. But till now everybody get their coins it is just a matter of time. Don't stop opening tickets and maybe try to contact them on other channels(facebook, twitter etc.)

This is a great project and it will be in the top 10 markets. That would require a market cap of nearly $ 1 trillion.

I've tried to transfer 1K again and it went through immediately, another withdrawal for 40K is pending for the last 45mins.

My inquiry (not withdrawal related) is open since the 7th of JUNE! I guess you should buy some relaxing tea and a comfy chair! I'm highly disappointed how they deal with customer issues!!

I like NEM project, but I just fear that with MasterNode and POI, coins will be more centralized to just a number of people. Not good for long-term development
Actually the opposite will happen. Every time the price suddenly increases some supernodes cash out and take profit. If the number of supernodes decreases too much they will lower the required balance to fund one. This increases distribution of XEM and thus increases decentralization. The more the price increases, the more early adopters will cash out increasing the spread of distribution. The higher the price goes, the harder it is to accumulate as well. I also think that PoS is superior to PoW because to participate in the 'shared-trust' of the network, you have to buy in from an existing stakeholder unlike in PoW where you only need to acquire mining hardware. It would be incredibly difficult to secure enough XEM to successfully the attack the network. In PoW, it would be very hard to detect a bad actor who is accumulating or researching advances in mining hardware to attack the network. I already see articles that some areas are banning crypto mining due to power shortage. This would be a big issue if we want mass adoption. I approuve and that why Nem delagated harvesting allow more people to enjoy harvesting with less H.ware and matherial! i like the concept im more scared that the coin stay stock in 5th or 4th place because of the high fees Very constructive discussions. I also believe the environmental-friendly PoS of PoI is better, and dynamic changes of # of supernodes as price fluctuates make sense to me. It's also true that transaction fee (10 NEM?) will be too high if NEM reaches .5 or >1 someday. Transaction fee is 1 xem for every 10000 xem and is going down 20 fold to 0,05 xem this month "xem transfer costs 0.05 xem per 10000 xem transferred, capped at 1.25 xem, so for example transferring 45000 xem costs 0.2 xem"

NEM (or associates) are going to support BC Vilniaus "Lietuvos Rytas"? According to Antanas Guoga: https://twitter.com/TonyGuoga/status/893434693483466753It is not a coincidence that Guoga announces his support to NEM and BC "Lietuvos Rytas" gets sponsorship. Very interesting, indeed. Today it was announce officialy that NEM become main sponsor of BC Lietuvos rytas. They will pay €500 000 in upcoming season. Also, they are planning to spread their business in Vilnius. It's a good deal for both sides, club will get financial support and NEM will get good publicity, because basketball is no.1 sports in Lithuania and also club will play in international competitions, so, NEM advertisements will be visible around whole Europe.

How odd. The 'Bitcoin Bowl' didn't exactly set the world on fire. For that sum you may well get a postage stamp on an F1 car. That would open up opportunities for some real heavyweight networking. Esports is the one where crypto should be headed. That's a vast audience with inbuilt knowledge.

You don't need an outgoing transaction prior to transfering xem from bittrex to your account.

I love XEM. The value will rise steadily from now on. I can not be a super node, but since I am interested in the project itself I will continue to cheer! !

Not sure. I saw a "never below 20ct again" too often this year. But I love how it rises.
