From my point of view NEM is very healthy platform. It doesn't use different dirty things (like some platforms that conduct hyip ICOs only with their on currency). It has good public support. Many ICOs will be soon: Bankera, COMSA, Dimcoin, LuxTag. Especially the first two. IMO NEM will grow naturally to 1$ till end of 2017, without pumps&dumps.

Luckily it's not irrevocably tied to the ICO thing like ETH is.

I don't think that it is good idea to spread out NEM on markets until it will skyrocket. Bittrex is enough for now. The less the number of Exchanges  the more solid price.

I think your perception is completely wrong because the more exchanges the more exposure to people. It will get more demdand only we exposure to different part of the world and different exchanges then only the price of NEM will increase.

Yep, but only at one condition i.e the rate is high enough to attract more people. If the price is low and falling the people will develop some negative reflex pertaining to coin

Version numbers do not refer the completion level. 0.x version can be quite ready, 95 %, but it is not officially published.
What is now missing from NEM ?

There are always some features to be added, but when can be said that the software is "ready" ?

I dunno what these people coming out with this 'not ready' shit are smoking. Bitcoin was up for sale for years at 0.whatever.

I don't know why it isn't on more exchanges, but ground is being lost needlessly. I have no idea why some people think it's good thing not to be over with as many people as possible.

NEM is still in experimental phase. Do you really want thousands, even millions, of people flocking to a platform that is still experimental?

It doesn't sound like a good idea when we even haven't left beta stage, this tech will manage people's literal finances which affect their daily lives. Developers have to make sure it's extra secure and stable.

It will be ready when it will be ready and when that happens more exchanges/people/companies will pick up NEM.

I think the Chinese and South Korean crackdown on ICO's will help COMSA and thus NEM. COMSA is the first attempt I'm aware of to create a platform for legit vetted ICO's based on existing businesses to avoid all the scammers. NEM foundation saw this coming IMO.

Even if china ban people from investing in ICO's, its virtually impossible to police.
Only real legal issues would be if COMSA was based in china itself.
