I have been looking into it as it is built on top of the NEM platform. Actually it's not. The only affiliation with NEM is the ability to invest via XEM. It appears they will be creating a new blockchain using a PoW/PoS hybrid consensus system but the white paper has little details. I'm personally going to pass because I don't see a reason why they couldn't use an existing platform such as NEM and I don't see any new tech in their whitepaper.

I was wondering if anyone is looking into the ICO graft? I have been looking into it as it is built on top of the NEM platform. It is for payments. Seems like a very interesting crypto, just wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts?
-Ethereal
I don't think they are bringing anything new compared to bankera + it's built on Monero, only ICO on NEM

I was under the impression that Bankera was in some way connected to the NEM platform, and that holders of BNK would have the ability to claim rewards in NEM once dividends started paying out.
It turns out I was misinformed. Here is what I received back from SpectroCoin's technical support:
************* Hello,
Thank you for writing us. Unfortunately, for now the only way to get the rewards is with ETH. If such an option to receive with XEM or any other currency gets available, you will be informed.
Regards, Ehab wiser Wed, 08/30/17 6:16 pm Hi there,
I recently purchased around 15,000 BNK. When BNK starts paying rewards, I'd like to get mine in XEM. How would I indicate that within my SpectroCoin account? Thanks for your help.
****************
XEM is not even available as a trading token on SpectroCoin's platform.
So why is Bankera even being advertised here? What is its connection to NEM (besides having a NEM developer as a consultant on its team)?

Dunno. But it's yet another idea that'll be impossible to deliver, either through incompetence or malice. If I was a public crypto face I wouldn't be going anywhere near anything ICO related until the smoke had cleared and there were some successful actual examples. We're still in the throwing shit at the wall phase and it's better to let them all fail before endorsing anything.

Well, I threw some BTC at it because I honestly thought it was in some way related to NEM. That's my fault for not doing my homework better (and it wasn't a lot of BTC). But I did get the distinct impression from this thread that there was a connection between NEM and Bankera, and even that Bankera was using the NEM block chain as its backbone. I want to correct that misperception, because their own tech support denies it.

They are planning to use NEM mosaic for BNK tokens and XEM for payouts. Just have to wait for them to be implemented. In their chat room it sounds like they prefer working with NEM over ETH and have mentioned they will likely convert all tokens to NEM by burning ETH tokens down the road but we'll see.

Are we on the doorstep of a 4x rally, or on the verge of a collapse? I'm pretty long from .02 and just held onto it. Thinking of reducing a bit.

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever. The volumes were big just a short while back. Big volumes and then back to nothing is what XEM has always done. Considering the sheer amount of cool stuff about to come online and how ridiculously steady the price has been for so long, I'd be inclined to stay put but that's what I've always done anyway.

Yeah, I'm trying to be a buy-and-hold investor. A year is nothing in reality but seems to be an eternity in the crypto space, which easily forgets what happened 15 minutes ago... Really, I like NEM having a run up past Dash and Ripple. Once the marketcap hits 10bio though, I'd expect we're in fairly rarified air and probably am taking profit at that juncture. Thank you for your thoughts.

Yeah, I'm trying to be a buy-and-hold investor.
Those who held from the intitial distribution turned literally nothing into several hundred thousand dollars. There's something to be said for it.

Great work. One minor comment is that Graft is not actually utilizing the NEM platform outside of the ICO pre-sale. They are only using NEM mosaic during pre-sale to raise funds and then will burn them to transfer to their own PoW/PoS hybrid block chain. It's great to see people choosing NEM over ETH to host their ICO tokens but don't want people to invest in Graft thinking it will be using NEM technology.

What are the requirements a server must meet to run NIS? I'm mainly asking about RAM and storage needs.
I've made simple node with 1 GB of RAM. But for supernode several GBs are needed. And for storage - blockchain in not big for now, a couple GB is enough.

Interview with Lon Wong, president and founder of NEM FoundationProbably everyone knows about the NEM blockchain solution platform. But always behind every project there are those responsible who put their best to advance day by day. One of those people behind the NEM ecosystem is Lon Wong, president of the NEM Foundation, who kindly gave us an interview that we will share at this time: Read more... Highlights for me from the interview are - Any failure in one off-chain smart contract does not expose the system to a systemic failure and it can be stopped, corrected and re-run without having to fork or rollback the blockchain, which may have other applications that may not be part of the problem application. Is there any big company interested in NEM today? Yes, there are companies working on NEM, many of which are still in the development stage and under NDA. What are NEM’s plans for next year? NEM’s plan next year is basically out to market. We have assembled a team are undertaking a huge marketing effort for the next year. We just held a global strategy summit recently to identify our goals for the near future. Regarding XEM’s market prices, what could we expect in the future? We will expect the price of XEM to climb up significantly as we roll out our projects. Or growth was intentionally designed to be organic and steady.

Seems to be very interesting because once everything is developed than the price of NEM is going to be in Moon then. Really NEM is going to become good to other market where it should lead the cryptocurrency very soon.
