Is 8,999,999,999 XEM the total max supply or they will create more xem in the future if they want to?
Supply should be unchangeable (according to NEM Foundation practic, and owners of XEMs), but i can imagine situation, when someone (Banksters ;P) will buy from market so much cheap XEMs as possible and do a vote for changing supply, win it, and then hardfork and voila - supply changed. But in comming few years i dont think it could be possible to buy and concentrate so many XEMs. I missed your answer, thank you for the explanation! I like NEM project but with the point u just made, i'm a bit confused if it is still a good long term investment...

But what will be after Catapult and migration to C++? Sorry i'am not good in programming, but as i understand this migration will be made from Java?
yes quite true, but there is no intention to add any new coins, so that amount remains fixed

I asked Jeff McDonald once that if one day Nem gets so popular that there is not enough Xem to go around for all the ICOs on Nem what to do. He says he doesn't see that happening as Xem is divisible by 6(?) decimal, but if it is absolutely necessary, community can vote on whether to increase the supply or not.

I like NEM project but with the point u just made, i'm a bit confused if it is still a good long term investment... Observe my posts here and on forum.nem.io in Price Speculation threads (my nick there: orminlange). I will tell You, and other where is good place to buy cheap. But not as investment only speculative. Scheme of pumps, dumps and fading will be always practiced in immature markets like Cypto. There is no background now to be so pessimistic with XEMs and his supply. I wrote about possibilities. Nothing is for sure. But like Gandhi said. First they ignore You, than are laughing, after that is fight phase (like now with FUD @Bitcoin spreaded by Banksters and theirs media), and after that You will win:) I hope that XEM will be winner in this race. That's the reason i hold my main stack of XEMs, even if price will go below 10cents. That should be only temporary setback. I speculate only with chunk of my stack (20-25% of it), like yesterday rebuyed after selling @ 25cents and i had 36000XEMs instead of 25000. 25000 i left untouched, and 11000 earned were sold overnight as spike on Polo occured and i left pending order @ 6900satoshi and voila i will observe opportunity to rebuy lower. If there will be no such opportunity i will not of course cry, but i wait patiently for dumpers and panic sellers. So for next price stop if some dump will occure i await @ 12-15cents area, but if waves will go so low that will be only station in fading (in scheme pump, dump and long fading). //edit Bitcoin is building his dumping waves. So now we have hard dump phase (i do not believe that 3000 will hold, maybe temporary with little bounce), and after that (limited bounces) should be fading phase. That could be painful for us XEM holders too. XEM is chained unfortunately to whole cryptomarket and it's bearish situation. Congratulations for Banksters. 1:0 for You m...f...s. And Zaif is offline? Thanks God that i widthrawed my XEMs before this, thats probably last signal to leave trade from other exchanges and sit on Fiats. So i must now suspend my plan of smart selling and rebuying. This crash give me opportunity to rest for a while and use what i have earned in private life.

Hi, I sent XEM from nanowallet to Bittrex yesterday but it is still not showing in the Bittrex wallet, not even in the "pending deposit" section. I read somewhere that you have include a message in the transaction, which I did not do. Can somebody explain to me what to do please and how to recover that XEM?

Open a support ticket with Bittrex and include transaction ID

Well since the nem.io forum and the thread here is mainly for information. I would create a speculation thread or something

So you think there is a lot more room for price drop from here? Yes if support 3000, or better to say support area on BTCUSD will be broken (perfectly on 1 day and weekly chart. The same is with XEMUSD, XEMJPY as until now XEM is paired with BTC. Ok thanks. I knew it, but was to lazy (or have worked to much time on charts), that have not posted there. Since now i will try not spam with price analysis here;)

What do you mean the true circulation? Its the true volume in $ terms traded. I think they exclude Zaif volume as there are no trading fees there which makes sense as its easy for fake volume.

The circulating supply of coins is very accurate on coinmarketcap. And the volume on every exchanges where NEM is being traded has nothing to do with it. Even if 2 or more exchanges were excluded it does not affect the total supply of coins.

I just found a list of upcoming events where XEM participates. Can somebody confirm this list?
SEPTEMBER 23 / #XEM / block chain MeetUp / Meeting with Jeff MacDonald Berlin SEPTEMBER 25 / #XEM / Discussion meeting @nem and ex-coo @hsbc private bank OCTOBER 3 / #XEM / Forum blockchain solutions Barcelona OCTOBER 17 / # XEM / meeting 2017 Australia OCTOBER 22 / # XEM / 20/20 conference in Las Vegas October 24 / #XEM / blockchain Summit in Dubai
Unfortunately, I cant confirm this information in the whole. But! I also have found similar information, particularly in twitter. So much of this could be true

I've been following NEM for a long time and are investing little by little when the price drops. That is why I bought a lot in the last few days. But what I ask myself, why does NEM not attract more ICOs with their unqiue Mosaic system? I have already created a mosaic for myself to play around and I think the possibilities for this feature is almost unlimited, but nevertheless it seems it gets little interest. Does anyone have a guess why?
