I have already created a mosaic for myself to play around and I think the possibilities for this feature is almost unlimited, but nevertheless it seems it gets little interest.
Could you share your mosaic? As an example. If possible.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I've been following NEM for a long time and are investing little by little when the price drops. That is why I bought a lot in the last few days. But what I ask myself, why does NEM not attract more ICOs with their unqiue Mosaic system? I have already created a mosaic for myself to play around and I think the possibilities for this feature is almost unlimited, but nevertheless it seems it gets little interest. Does anyone have a guess why?

Step by Step. It will come. The team and community working hard to spread the word. The team is aware of the lack of communication. You can see that, now as the tech is stable and tested, they roll the marketing out.

Many people forget that NEM started out a free coin. They gave out free stakes. Many of those people sold out early, but those that confidence in the devs were rewarded.

They continue to make sure NEM is going to be used by the real world

The amount of NEM that will be born to you in NEMesis will be 2.25 million NEM.  As for the sliver coins, it is definitely being planned 100% but some of the fine details haven't been worked out yet.  But yes, a lot of work has been put into make sure that all NEMsters will get a NEM silver coin.

What's the latest on the silver coins for the NEMster stake holders?

Inside NEM Blockchain Ep 11: COMSA + ICO + Blockchain Trends

Inside NEM Blockchain Ep 11: COMSA + ICO + Blockchain Trends

Addresses a lot of the issues the current and past ICOs have encountered. Scams, security flaws etc. Well worth a look (the vid) and could be huge if they can market it well.

Just watched your vid after posting about comsa above. Well spotted on the Bankera dump so Comsa might not be as promising for NEM as i thought. Also i suspect the NEM foundation has been drip dumping for some time. How else are they paying for all these blockchain centers etc.
They have a bot on polo im pretty sure and the i believe it also supports the price if comes under too much pressure. 5k seems to be the floor
I know all this should pay off long term but the NEM market is so thin now that it cant handle that kind of sell pressure.

Thanks I know that the team works very hard and I have hodled my XEM for almost two years now. So I am an early supporter of the project and I am very convinced about the future success of the project. In conjunction with Catapult it will be a ready to use solution for businesses and mainstream use cases. Nevertheless, I was wondering why Mosaics feature has not used more in the current ICO boom.

I assume they've done some OTC deals as well. There was that Japanese exchange that bought a large amount.

Nothing I've seen about Bankera looks realistic to me. Everyone other than the people proposing it should be standing well back from it until it proves itself. Insta dumping isn't very professional either, though of course they'll have many a bill to pay and plenty of greed to service.

Magazines are really starting to cover blockchain, good for public awareness. As the adoption takes place, more fiat will flow into crypto.
In the years to come I expect large gains in market share, especially in a top contender like NEM.

Isn't Bankera run by Spectrocoin exchange?

I thought they were a pretty legit company.

I thought they were a pretty legit company.

There's a few gripes about them, but show me a company that doesn't.

Legitimacy aside, it just looks ridiculously unachievable to me. They're going to need a huge amount of cooperation from traditional banking and I just don't see where that cooperation is going to come from. Without that cooperation it's a completely dead idea.

This is from their roadmap - "BANKING CAPABILITY early 2019. After the ICO, a banking license will be obtained. This will allow us to offer loans and deposit services."

They say nothing about the jurisdiction, who's going to grant it, what the chances of approval are and what groundwork they've already put in. If they want our money then let's see some evidence that it's actually going to produce some results.

And I don't think kicking off with an ICO is the way to warm the hearts of the old school financiers they're going to have to stroke to get anywhere. The crypto bit is a piece of piss. The crossover into banking is anything but and totally beyond their control no matter how much they raise.

Once upon a time Neo & Bee was going to revolutionise banking too. It didn't get very far.

That may be all bah humbug but if it was a sound enough idea they wouldn't be going down the ICO route. They'd get proper backing from proper investors. It just looks like more pie in the sky junk to me.

I think they have a decent chance of making progress in this sector. They have an existing viable company and aren't using these funds for "startup costs". They stated the sole purpose of the ICO is to raise the reserve funds required by regulations to back their planning banking services. These reserves must be in EUR and they have been 100% open about the fact that they are converting all crypto used to purchase BNK to EUR. Maybe they could have sold over time to lesson slippage but nobody can predict the future price so it makes sense to convert ASAP so the realized conversion rate is closest to the rate the BNK was sold at. Others might say holding the crypto instead of converting it to fiat ASAP would be unprofessional if you understand what their strategy is.

I'd agree with that, I seem to remember the Ethereum Foundation completely screwing themselves because of that, but it shows a slight lack of sympathy for how weedy the XEM market is if they run straight to it and poo all over it.
