Hi there LemonAndFriesOne, could you elaborate on that? I heard they've started closing accounts without prior warning and ask for personal documents. Is this what you're referring to?

Yes. There are loads of examples of that around at the moment. It seems to be affecting older accounts that they're retrospectively sticking verification on. New accounts verified from minute one seem to have far fewer problems.

It also looks like they're clamping down on nationalities they previously didn't care about.

I haven't had any issues myself and support stuff has gotten answered every time within 1-24 hours, but I'm just one little person.

Exactly like gentlemand said, they have started to enforce verification on legacy accounts and limiting the withdrawal amounts but sure do take as much as you would like to deposit  Roll Eyes .

Limiting trading on newer accounts, doesn't really seem like a good idea for traders who want to purchase large amounts of coins.

Any news of an updated Nano Wallet version for Trezor compatibility?

Yeah, im also waiting for that. As soon as there is some official news about NEM being compatible for Trezor, im buying one.

The required firmware update to Trezor has occurred. Nano wallet now need to be updated. Looking at the GitHub repository the necessary code has been combined into Nano version 2.0 a week or so ago. I'd imagine an announcement and release a days away

Awesome, I ordered my Trezor like 4 months ago only for NEM Grin

Can You tell me when catapult will be introducted in nem?

Can you stake NEM that's held in a hardware wallet like Trezor? Or is it required to be in a wallet like NanoWallet?

I would think you could if you used delegated harvesting and had your harvesting address connected to a node.

There's loads going on, but this is by far the worst place to keep abreast of developments.

The Telegram channels are the most active.

This is a weekly roundup - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnsSiqyb0PuQkqT4v8Xjugw

https://www.reddit.com/r/nem/comments/77vvqg/an_indepth_guide_to_nem/ftp://

And there's plenty more out there. This thread has always been weirdly dead compared to elsewhere.

Situation of XEMs marketcap is simple to describe for now - it is much undervalued.

When i compare two simple charts, marketcap since january 2017 until now for XEM (was at it's high around 3bln$)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z_PpqABf51ZOKsRDxkA8IJeV7hQUH3c0/view?usp=sharing

and all altcoins marketcap (has ATH in September around 100bln$, now is around 140bln$)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12ibbAwII3WpKTNnJ2d7WW4j61Rp0VWoc/view

it is clear that XEM should be quoted now around 0.5$ and have marcetcap in range 4-4,5bln$ (to be equal in his altcoins marketshare). But it does not. The only question is why XEMs did not participate fully in this bullrun and many other altcoins are growing easily?

But i hope that in few months finally there will be another question from non-believers side- why is XEM so overvalued?Wink

Nem foundation selling bots is my opinion. There is a constant small wall soaking up any buys and is refilled 24/7.
They are spending a lot of money on their centers and wages etc. Where do you think they are getting it?
btw this theory is based solely on the poloniex order books as I haven't been following the other exchanges

thanks @gentlemand I didn't realize there was a NEM youtube page. I will go get up to speed on things. I'll see if I can find one on COMSA. I am keen to see NEM working in the exchange space. I was harvesting for a while but when you only have 10,000 NEM's and the volume of NEM daily transactions being under 1million most days I barely harvest 6 in three months... hoping going on as I find the whole Proof of Importance idea interesting.

There is a Youtube channel named "NEM Inside" that covers NEM stuff and news weekly.
I think it is not an official channel but the host Alexandra is doing a very good job and keeps one up to date about NEM topics and development. She has covered Catapult and Comsa in recent episodes.

That is just a speculation. I don't believe NEM foundation is involved with this.
Maybe all we need is just a little more patience for the next pump.

But it's a bit hard to believe that NEM currently is not going up as every other altcoin. And it's way undervalued currently, far under the ATH :/

It is very strange that the price is always stable at 0.20$ !? Can't see that on any other coin except Tether loool Cheesy
Maybe NEM is the new Tether Wink Cheesy
