The peak was around 13000 satoshis give or take a few hundred. That equates to $1.88 at current BTC prices.

Choosing USD or BTC pricing might be the difference between sadness and elation. I chose USD for NEM a long time ago.

It's natural the BTC ratio will plummet when BTC is on a run. At the same time the BTC ratio will rise when Bitcoin is falling or resting. It all ultimately levels out.

I really liked the steady grow of nem. hopefully it will settle around here and continue to rise

This is an interesting update. Wonder what they're doing with NEM specifically, and what this new token MINUTES would do. I remember Chronobank had a lot of publicity and advertisements before the ICO where they raised a good amount of money, but the project seems to have been faltering since, even being delisted from Bittrex. I would be interested to see some strong use for MINUTES though - might help both the communities if that were the case.

As I understood right there is no Inflation. You can harvest by choosing a supernode and get rewards from the transaction fees that the supernode collects by putting transactions in a block.

1. How is the supernode rewarded?

2. If NEM gets more used, do the fees also rise like at BTC?

3. By higher usage the value of the token would also rise. So why should a company use this blockchain, if they have to pay more and more for the usage when NEM gets more popular.

The supernodes are subsidised by a preallocated fund that should last for a few more years.

NEM will soon get a huge capacity upgrade so fees will probably never rise above the standard level. If they do then it's a nice problem to have. If the XEM USD price rises then of course the fee costs more, but developers have already reduced the fee once and can again.

Companies will use a private version of the NEM chain and there won't be any fees. They will occasionally need to use the main chain but only to transact with other companies.

The airdrop details would be interesting to watch. Perhaps other projects can follow suite, and NEM holders can get more future rewards based on these airdrops, if a few projects succeed.

That is a difference. If Wechat is anything like Facebook then anyone can develop an app that integrates with it. It's still a good thing. If the app gets really popular (think Candy Crush), then it could be a boom to NEM.

It is true that this isn't a 'partnership' per se, but still makes it quite easy to integrate with China's largest and most popular app by far so it is a huge increase in usability, especially for small amounts. Combine that with the Catapult update and new ICOs launching on the NEM platform, there are some interesting catalysts on the horizon.
