Best advice one could give.

I made some bad experiences with Yobit too, now I avoid all those small shady exchanges, I only use them if there is really no other way and I desperately want to buy.
In the case that you cant avoid it and need to buy there, than its wise to do it in small fractions of your money, its safer to do several trades: deposit, trade, withdraw, repeat until you have achieved your goal.

Yobit is the worst exchange, non-existent support and most of the wallets are in "Wallet Status: Maintenance" forever. Better stay away from this exchange.

I think you are right. Its been coiling up for a big move for awhile now and even the hint of wechat sent it soaring. And that wasnt even the news we were waiting for.
Catapult, NEM exchange, Mijin launch into to big company + the countless other projects built on the NEM blockchain that are developing at the moment and yes 2018 should be exciting

Great turn of events for holders, however the rate the whole market is rising at is unprecedented. I worry that too much money has flowed into crypto too fast, and we will see a huge pullback before nem has had a chance to really take off into moon territory, which would erase many of the gains we've made.

Not nems fault, everyone else's. 17k Bitcoin, $350+ litecoin, $800+ dash and $500+ ether is not sustainable imo. I wonder what things will look like in a month.
I hope the Chinese really use the hell out of nem in Feb to keep us from falling into the abyss.

Anyone know if the wechat availability will make it easy for the Chinese to directly purchase nem for yuan?
If not, and it seems like they can already send money with Chinese currency, what motivation do the Chinese have to use nem to do what they can already do with fiat?

That happens quite often actually. Poloniex does it more than bittrex. It will get resolved eventually.

Yes, we can expect some rise in price very soon and already it has crossed the value of 0.55$ for each nem. With this uptrend I think definitely there is a chance that the price of NEM will reach to more than 1$.
