That's cool! Have you tested it or is this a call for testing?

If you mine to a wallet instance instead of that IP, does it work?

No its not working. He is working with the dev to fix it.

So why don't you just admit you were doing your best to get everyone not to mine?

Pool is fixed : http://106.3.225.46/, no more connection time out.
If we find a block I can publish the miner source code.

...are you working on the pool - or do I kill you slightly with my pc's? Wink
after switching more than 2 or 3 machines on (43hash per machine) connection timeouts occure again.

I'm occasionally restarting the pool after making some changes, so that will cause time out errors.

my shares start from zero - are you stable to leave some machines on over night, or do I hash into the dustbin?

A example for solo mining for the other guys would be kind, you know.
you will get you hash as first pool.

The shares you see stats page doesn't reflect your total shares, they are not reset anyway.

Just pointed a couple machines there, maybe i'm not seeing it, but has the pool even found a block yet?

There were 3 orphaned blocks, but I have fixed that and we should be finding valid blocks now.

Still no blocks on that pool... Has the miner been fixed?

Pool is back up!! The miner binaries have been updated to fix block submission.
Re-downloading these is required.

Linux standalone miner: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dbfxvmoryekyq5i/shinyminer
Windows 64-bit standalone miner: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0l4hjypmrg48x6t/shinyminer.zip

says they have.

I hope it for this time - I will give this coin one more try and point a few machines on the pool today.
I wasted much hash last weekend in non working combinations to mine this shiny shine.

The hash power of network must be high.  I have a lot of computers pointed and only got two blocks in last 24 hours.  Would be nice if someone did the conversion between difficulty and avg hash power.

I don't had your luck. 300h/s wasted.

It would be wise for the DEV to get more transparence into his coin.
Known Networkhashrate, a calc to check the hashs versus coin rate and last but not least a working pool & a working combination of sandors miner for solo mining directly to the wallet.

...and while I wrote this lines...
stratum connection timed out
stratum connection interrupted
stratum authentication failed

...I'm out...life is too short.

Some good and bad news! The pool actually found 2 valid blocks yesterday, and an hour after that the wallet crashed and could not start back up (which explaisn why pool is down now).
The bad news is that the pool rejected the blocks even though they were valid, so I will have to pay out manually.

The problem was that the wallet is accepting blocks really slowly (takes like 20s), and the pool sent the query to check the block faster than it should. Fixed it by querying every 20s atleast 5 times.

Like the idea behind this coin but its pretty useless if it is impossible to run the wallet at a normal desktop pc. The client just simply starts, freezes and quits. Also the blockchain sync is terrible slow, know issue or only me??

Saw the freezing willbe addressed shortly so for the moment i will give it a try an a few xeons as testdrive.  Smiley

So my conclusion for now; coin with potential but the launch was rushed and enabled istamine for the power user. Not a fair coin imo.

There was no instamine, the block reward started at 1 and went to 400 over the course of 2 days.
