Any news about a GPU miner for the Prime CPU mining channel? I did see there is a bounty of 20k Nexus to get an open-source one for community to reduce the risk and impact of one or two miners running proprietary prime channel GPU miner software. I believe this is pretty important.

I am currently optimizing..

Private prime miner for the pascal chipset (NVIDIA) 100% faster. Not for sale. For harvesting.

Interesting !

Before attempting to make it open source u should think about how mucky and poor ur frat room is. This is due to the lack of funds and laziness residing in ur ass. If u want to brighten things up a bit, slightly overhaul ur home or buy a cheap van, u should monetize ur work. Without charging money for the miner, u are bound to end ur life on a rubbish dump.

Im coding the one, release soon. My calculator will have fade-in -- fade-out effects, multilayered textures for buttons and auto-arrange feature. The latter works like so - u tap the switch in the bottom pane of a calculator to make buttons start shuffle around. U can adjust shuffling speed and set the randomness by defining hot spot values. However buttons will move randomly, I doubt u can make any use of that calculator.

That is for the GPU channel, not for the Prime CPU channel.  The Prime CPU channel currently has no open-source GPU miner, afaik.

./nexus-qt
Could not parse stylesheet of widget 0x7ffd8e7663c0

This always happens on ubuntu but it does not prevent the wallet opening only the menu buttons dont appear.

A unique part about Nexus is the TWO types of hash channels. I get confused about about block frequency, though. From the first post in this thread:
Quote
Prime and Hashing Minting Channels: The effective reward is established by the reserve balances. These reserves have a decayed amount deposited every time interval of one minute. If the balance is below a given threshold, the reward value will be based on a time’s value of a decayed amount. This means that the reward will be given based on how long it was taken to create the block. This prevents the reserves from being depleted as large amounts of computing power jump on and off the mining network.
How does this work? I see real blocks in the block explorer sometimes only 10s older than the previous one. Does this mean that miner only got 10/60th of a reward for that block?

Does the hash mining success reset the prime mining, and vice versa? Or does every block need to have one hash success and one prime success?
My guess is either a hash or prime miner success resets the block, but the prime and hash mining rewards each have their own separate timers for partial rewards?

How is hash difficulty set? Is it adaptive, so perhaps if you get lots of 10s blocks from fast hash miners, the difficulty goes up until the frequency drops to an average of 1 m? Does hash difficulty change prime difficulty?
