Haven't been back here for a very long time! How goes the project Viz? Are you still putting a blockchain into space and what sort of target date will that be... 2018 or after?
Welcome back starblocks! Thanks! Quick question... is it worth CPU mining this with a single Core i7 8700 quad core processor or is it more suited to multiple processor mining rigs and/or higher processors?

The guys in the #mining channel in Slack can probably give you an idea of whether it is worthwhile or not. I know difficulty is high these days though.

aaaaand, success! https://www.clickorlando.com/news/space-news/1st-launch-scheduled-thursday-for-spaceport-camdenVector Space Systems, a small satellite launch company based out of Tucson, tested a rocket that the company hopes will put small satellites into space one day. ... Liftoff happened just before 12:30 p.m.
"Building on years of research, Vector is continuing to work towards the next technical milestone in our development plan," Vector's co-founder and chief technology officer, John Garvey, said in a release. "Spaceport Camden's support of Vector's flight test will not only validate the engineering and technology behind our mission, but also propel Vector closer to an orbital capacity."
in less interesting news, the nxsprime.com stats show that all of the top-10 chains are now length ten. Will update when Nexus finds its first length eleven chain. Very excited. but more importantly, a successful launch, and how the heck did you get ron paul to talk at the conference?? some impressive names in the speaker list. it's almost like the rest of the world is starting to wake up and pay attention! congrats vector, congrats nexus, congrats everyone! exciting times ahead!

i have a question please
im doing solo mining and i installed the wallet + all configs for solo mining (i have a static ip and am using the same port for solo mining)
my question is if i start mining as solo with more than one machine is it going to be like pool mining i mean is all the machines well be hashing on the same block and one of the stoped working the other machines will complete the work
if not is it possible to do the same thing using the pool miner and port and point all machines to the same wallet ip
am only using CPU's
+ is it going to work for GPU's
thanks guys

I am running the miner on a computer with 4x Xeon E7-4870 CPUs (10 cores / 30 MB cache / 2.4 Ghz) -- so far only getting ~700 WPS.
Configured as such :
"sieve_threads": 0, "ptest_threads": 0, "timeout": 10, "bit_array_size": 10000000,"
Suggestions ?

Also... is there ANY way to mine Nexus on GPU without downloading the whole blockchain ? Seems like it's going to take 2-3 days at least to download it.
Or... is this it ?
"RECENT DATABASE FILES
Oracle Database
Lower Level Database (LLD)
BLOCK EXPLORER"
The LLD ?

Alrighty... follow-up on this. Downloaded the LLD, placed it in the correct directory, but the QT client simply sits there using 30% CPU for a few hours so far as a background process (meaning I cannot load the program GUI visibly). I assume this is normal and it's checking the database ?

Any update on Nexus Coinomi wallet? I do not know about Coinomi, but people say that tritium could be released soon, although it's not officialy confirmed by the NXS team. And it's not the only interesting rumour out there
