Apparently, there is a species of squid that can fly:

Quote
A species of oceanic squid can fly more than 30 metres (100 feet) through the air at speeds faster than Usain Bolt if it wants to escape predators, Japanese researchers said Friday.

That there really are square watermelons and it's not too hard to make them.

Square watermelons; flying squid; what next? Dung beetles navigate via the stars in the Milky Way? This thread is going to pot, and whoever started it, should lock it.

My grandfather on my mom's side would have been 109 today if he wouldn't have died at the age of 88. I learnt that his grandfather was a renown train engineer in Pennsylvania after the Civil War.

My grandfather on my dad's side was in the German Army during WWII.

I learnt that I can still shovel snow a ~week before my 53rd birthday. 3" last night, and the first time this year I had to use a shovel. Twice this winter I've used a broom and have used only 2 bags of salt purchased two years ago, for I didn't even need the surplus from then last winter.

Up to three weeks ago, our grass was still green, but now it's tan. The lilacs were ready to pop buds a couple days ago. Got to blame it on the ASIC not being delivered on time causing all this warming.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is not mentioned once here: http://www.businesswithoutborders.com/

Yet, I was tricked by Google to read the following: http://www.businesswithoutborders.com/industries/others-industries/the-birth-of-a-global-currency/

This 53 year old bod can still walk a mile in a blizzard. Walked to Walgreen's here in Sandwich because truck buried in snow. This is all Kano's fault.

Today I learnt about a pretty smart idea to prevent a password from being guessed by looking at the movements of the hand:

After dad passed away in 2010, I found an old pic of mom (circa 1968(?)), standing in one of those claw-footed cast iron tubs, nude. No, I don't view it as sometime sexual, for she's not my type--a tad heavy, though not obese.

I learned Nigerian scammers always mention 'Nigeria' in their emails. Why?

Mandated by Nigerian law, like "Made in China" label is mandated by Chinese law?

I'm not sure what camps you've been visiting, but the term is Perv-Sicko, named after its founders.  Kiss Kiss Kiss
