I have not heard much news from any of these legends altcoin, does it still live up to this? I lost track of it in the market and now I do not know where the bitmark market is.
Tradesatoshi

Tradesatoshi is a thief, look the transaction

Do you mean withdrawal fees? My impression is  they have one of the lowest withdrawal fees among exchanges. 0.1 for BTM.

Exchange ain't that good, but it serves purpose to accumulate before cryptopia listings and coin hardfork.

No if you look BTM in poloniex or other the price about is 16000satoshi but in tradesatoshi the price is 1600 satoshi for example, if you sell there you lose more more money

BTMRK but when?

Listing process has been initiated. I believe that trading on Cryptopia will be active by March.

...active by March? So long does the list process take?

Since paying the listing fee (2,500,000 DOT ) I have not had any personal contact from anyone at the exchange; I opened a support ticket, but even that, they advise to expect about 12 days before a response.

The reason I say "by March" is because in the Paytopia Payments section it lists the payment as "Pending" and "Beginning" and "Ending" on 3/1/2018.

Paytopia Payments
Id     Type          Amount              Coin   Status   Begins      Ends      TransferId   RefundId   Timestamp
1003   ComboListing   2500000.00000000   DOT   Pending   3/01/2018   3/01/2018   Pending   N/A   1/3/2018 3:22 PM   Info
Showing 1 to 1 of 1 entries

I can understand that they want to be careful and review code and conduct other due diligence before they list a coin, but I agree, two months seems a bit long. Then again, the whole crypto space has been exploding and they are probably backlogged.

Are there any changes in Pending and Beginning of Cryptopia Listing???

Hi. Can someone please help me out? I'd like to move my BTM off Poloniex but have difficulties with the wallet.

I downloaded the Bitmark Core 0.9.4.0 from https://github.com/project-bitmark/bitmark/releases/tag/v0.9.4. It's running ok but I can't seem to find any peers.

Please try https://github.com/project-bitmark/bitmark/releases/tag/v0.9.5.1

Although it's tagged as a pre-release, it's actually quite stable and, more importantly, it has updated and correct DNS Seeder nodes which should get you a real-time list of active nodes, so you don't have to use 'addnode' and your node will join the Bitmark network right away.

My wallet immediately found nodes. Check firewall
Yeah I figure it's something else than the Bitmark wallet itself. This is really strange, I have dozens of Qt-wallets form different cryptos installed on my computer and I haven't had similar problems with any of them. I just add an exception for the corresponding EnterCoinName-qt.exe in the firewall and the start syncing. I even tried installing and running Bitmark Core on my separate gaming computer - same results, no peer and not syncing even one block. It's completely cut off the BTM network.

It's most probably is the firewall, since I'm using the same security software on both computers. Are there any other files other than "bitmark-qt.exe" that should be added to the firewall exceptions list?

Do you have the latest code ? We have set up a solid network of DNS Seeders (and fixed seed nodes) in v0.9.5.1, so nodes can join the Bitmark P2P network easily.

Downloaded the above version and finally got the wallet working after deleting the old blockchain (guess it was corrupted). It synced up in a matter of minutes. Thanks for the help!

..And of course now Poloniex has frozen BTM withdrawals -_-

Sorry, wrong. BTM on Novaexchange is Bitmark, while BTM on Cryptopia is Bytom.

So what's up with that coin anyways, is it dead?

It can't seem to be traded anywhere but on Poloniex, but the wallet is frozen for now. Any idea how long it's been like that, and if the devs are still doing anything with that project?

Doing well, thank you.  Unsure why Poloniex has the wallet frozen, but we are working on the next version which will be multiple Proof-of-Work with 8 algos to choose from for mining, improved difficulty retargeting (Dark Gravity Wave v3) and a variable block reward modulated by hashrate on the network. We hope that with this new version Poloniex will re-enable deposits and withdrawals.

Additionally, we are working on the higher level marking functions which are the reason for being for the coin.

At the moment, you can trade Bitmark (BTM) on TradeSatoshi.com, and we have a listing on Cryptopia.co.nz pending, which should come online early next month.

If you want to peek at the next gen code:
Code:
git clone  https://github.com/project-bitmark/bitmark.git
git checkout 0.9.7

Dev said at the beginning of March cryptopia will open the market for BTM.

There is no old or new coins. Everything is the same except new mining algorithms are added.
With new mining algorithms it would be possible to mine Bitmark with GPU-s and CPU-s which will increase decentralization and probably the price.

@devs If I may propose for future coin upgrades to be masternodes, which has proven to incentives holding the coins.

They will be valid on the new fork. The changes we are making are mainly to protect the integrity of the Btimark blockchain, democratize mining and make it far more secure from 51% attacks.

We've gotten news from Cryptopia, which I'm happy to share with the Bitmark community. Received on Valentine's day, Feb 14.

It's basically an acknowledgement that our listing is in progress of being implemented and an apology for the delays, all due to the spectacular growth of cryptocurrency in general and the work overload this has put on the Cryptopia staff.

We look forward to working with Crytopia to make Bitmark a succesful and actively traded coin on Cryptopia.

Hi dbkeys

First of all, I want to apologise for the delays you’ve experienced getting BTM listed on Cryptopia.
We have undergone substantial growth pressures which means the communication around listings has been poor. We're working on fixing this.

As part of this process we have formed a small team that will work directly with listing customers. That means you'll get a prompt response when responding to this email address, and we'll aim to keep you informed on any challenges with your listing. We're currently reviewing our coin listing policies which means the whole process will become easier and more transparent for our clients. This includes improving ongoing support and maintenance of live coins to ensure a high level of service to customers trading your coin.

Right now we're focused on working through our listing backlog as soon as possible. We'll follow up with a proposed schedule for your coin as soon as we can. We'll let you know when your coin has passed the last stage of review and is close to going live. Announcements of new listings will be made by Twitter as they happen.

Please let us know if you have any additional queries or specific requests.

Kind Regards,

Service Delivery Team

Hi clpedev,

Thanks for the offer of help. It's exciting that you program in assembler  ( I'm a particular fan of  assembly to help speed things up.)

I'm asking the team for their thoughts.

Maybe you could you run an execution profiler on the bitmarkd daemon to identify some parts that would benefit from assembly optimization ?

Or the CPU miners code.

What areas would you like to work in ?

PM me.

Thanks !
