Whatever we do all, please don't let this turn into Uro part 2 where an ARMY of sock accounts showed up to fud it with ridiculous conspiracy theories on the day of the big pump. When it comes to Bitcointalk, words such as fud and scam get tossed around way too much when often its simply a different strong opinion. I can't wrap my mind around why people rather argue long winded posts (on both sides) rather than simply respectfully disagreeing, summarizing the counter points without quoting the whole text and then going back to coordinating efforts to increase the marketing.

I don't get it. Anyway, I appreciate everyone that has a thought about CannabisCoin. CryptoCoins in general (including Bitcoin) are still a huge experiment. I'm excited to see how it pans out.

OK I don't mind the FUD posts disguised as asking 'honest questions' just when the big coins start to break through. I also think it could be ideal for MMJ shops outside of Arizona (particularly California!!), but my concern is specifically related to Arizona Dispensaries.


The Arizona Department of Health Services Medical Marijuana Regulations have requirements for accounting principals that dispensaries must follow, amongst other requirements. The regulations aren't clear as to whether an Arizona dispensary CAN accept Cannabis Coin and then exchange it for USD.


Remember, Arizona dispensaries are also required to pay TAXES to the State of Arizona in addition to any taxes implemented by the county and city.


Dispensaries are also required to track and report each and every transaction with every patient to the AZDHS, including what strain the person bought, how much marijuana was purchased, and how much money was exchanged. (So that the State can electronically keep track of how much marijuana you buy, so that you can't possibly buy more than 2 1/2 Ounces every 14 days) So the idea of an Arizona Dispensary holding on to their Cannabis Coins would likely not be possible as the Dispensary is required to report the value at the time of the electronic transaction inside the dispensary.

The fundamental problem is that Arizona's Medical Marijuana regulations we're written by an agency that didn't want medical marijuana in the first place. The Arizona Department of Health Services actually lobbied AGAINST the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act prior to it's passage. And let me remind you all that the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act was approved by a vote of 50.2% of Arizonans. No, that isn't a typo. The regulations were NOT written for the patients' best interest. It is generally accepted in the Arizona medical marijuana industry that our medical marijuana is awful.


Also, I wanted to know is there an incentive for an independent dealer to accept only Cannabis Coin and not just accept ANY form of crypto-currency like Bitcoin AND Cannabis Coin? (Or whatever coin the person happens to have for that matter)

The whales will slowly unload all the way up because you can't put a sell in for 500,000-1M coins at the top and hope for it to fill. So far so good as shown by the slow steady growth. 16k sat is so little in crypto there is no need for whales to exit right here. The true whales could induce extreme panic buying right now but the fact that they are being patient is evidence that they believe we have a long way to go.

When we hit .001 there will be a lot of profit taking for sure but that's how the game works. Even at .001($0.40) some of the whales will still hold to see where we are headed.

Side Note: CA is home but I just returned after living in Colorado for about 6 months and can tell you that the legalization of pot there did not push the price down. In fact it was quite the opposite. Some of the dispensaries service both MMJ patients as well as recreational users and I can tell you typically the recreational weed costs 20% more and has limited strains compared to MMJ. In fact the shops that service both types of users have to have separate counters/display cases for each type of user.

@iCEBREAKER XMR is so overvalued right now it blows. You can see from the slide that people are beginning to wake up. Even BBR, which is better than XMR, is struggling to maintain 35k. The time to exit XMR was weeks ago. I am a fan of cryptonote but there is no real world usage right now.

Because BTC doesn't have entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry treading the boards and getting acceptance, educating people how to use it, letting people buy paper coins in store, marketing it to cannabis businesses, meeting fellow industry entrepreneurs smoking a spliff and getting them to buy into and have confidence in the crytpo concept face-to-face.

this approach is the way forward in crypto generally i think, v clever - so many coins with no purpose and no acceptance, BTC is just generic, CANN is the first coin tailored for an industry and making the right moves and look what's happening.........

I've been tweeting and was on the thread, been fighting a war with Mintpal recently so not been around much.  The snoop thing is no good, I remember being in DOPE on day 1 (like 8 months ago) and all the dev did is spend his time trying to hit snoop on twitter who just ignored him - getting out there in the industry like D9 is doing and the community supporting by spreading the word like above is the way i think
