Looks like all the coins are going to a few miners again. I put up 20Mhz but that is no match for the 500-3000Mhz miners. By my calcs I might get 800 coins if I am lucky. Lets say the price goes up to 20k sats. That is not even 0.2 BTC. A select few will profit on this coin.

Thats why I'm saying since days that we need new algo coins.. X11/x13 is dead for normal miners..

Which reminds me to ask you did you get any results with mBlake (modified blake) for Saffron?!

yes and no - i've got a stratum finished - but no miner which i can use with it currently ...

There is a modified miner, working - should check in the thread...

i will, thanks for heads up !

30Mhz from old gaming rigs so guess we are in the same boat.

That is what I liked from Minerals. However contravertial, at least there was something in it for the small miner.

Do people really think this is going to be worth > $500,000?

What's the point of mining at this difficulty?

Having trouble mining with sgminer; I've never used it before, I usually use cgminer or bfg. I'm using this in sgminer:

Code:
sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://192.95.6.30:3333 -u my_address -p my_password

I'm getting a warning about GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT and GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS being unset. At the end it says "Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0". I'm on Windows 7.

Any hints?

i suggest to use https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.0

provides good performance. i use the kernel option "-k x11mod" which works pretty well.

gl

btw, smooth launch

add this on top of your .bat

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://192.95.6.30:3333 -u my_address -p my_password

It is not economically viable to mine this coin. Does not matter which way you look at it. The top hash farms will take everything. I guess the majority of miners will have to wait for the exchanges.

Coins are already confirmed.  Takes seconds to transfer to your wallet.
