He Fonzie,

I never thought about those things you say, they are all unknown rubbish for me.

I bought a few coins (at the start and not with a fork, I'm certain) because I like it,
I don't want to sell them, and certainly not now.
I just wanted to check if all was allright ... which wasn't.

Not everybody knows so much about it, backing up the wallet and replacing the new wallet in the
correct way is difficult enough for me.

But what I want to know, how is this possible?

I guess this is not a good thing if you want to have a faithfull coin.

Well everything is just fine now but dedicated pool isn't doing anything or there still is a problem out there.
They still have disabled VVV.

"Unable to connect to wallet RPC service: RPC call did not return 200: HTTP error: 0 - JSON Response: [] "

"We have disabled VVV until further notice. Seems there are many forks out there."

I'd mined VVV for three days but have not withdrawn any yet.I thought they will solve the problem soon but.................

it's just like a bank... if you check your account and theres more money in it then there should be you don't expect to be able to spend it lol if you do the bank will just make you pay it back. if coins appear from no where in any wallet they are bad coins a.k.a from a fork, and if you go to the thread theres usually lots of people talking about it (like the last couple pages of this thread)

if your buying coins that have only existed for mere days (like many on bittrex) it's your responsibility to keep an eye on the threads and make sure your up to date before you move coins around. it's crypto 101.

lol and not really sorry if I came off sounding like I was accusing you of trying to sell them... why else would you send all of them to bittrex? if you weren't then good, but next time just open a new wallet and send them there instead of an exchange and always check or ask on the threads.

Good idea, I will do this directly after the current sync is completed.
Do you have so much lol?  (lol is fun in dutch!)

Will this coin recover from all this?

This coin has a bright future. Even the guy from Bittrex have a positive feedback. The overall VVV ecosystem and price will be moving up.

Then this wallet situation needs to get on the right path. Very frustrating!

im not a technical expert so i have some questions..

how can it be that a few people who still mine this coin cause so much trouble?

problems: (im running the latest version from OP)
- the wallet runs fine for some time, then it says im 1800+ blocks behind and am not synced (tried repair, delete everything except wallet etc.)
- pos block creation is very very slow and not at the target given in the spec

what can be done to solve this?
what can be done to prevent such event again if suddenly someone starts pow mining in a few weeks?

would be nice to get some answers.

to be clear, i am positive about this coin and the behaivor of the dev, but this problem needs to be solved ASAP!

POW ended like a day and a half ago... if your pools let you keep on mining that is their fault, and yours for not checking the ann at least once each day to keep informed

Was the news that big dump or......

what big dump ? the biggest sales I see are like 60K Smiley does that equal a big dump now ?? I wouldn't be worried unless it was a bunch of 100K + sales not just a few small ones.  we were lucky the price stayed around 5k the whole day yesterday with the big fiasco, and with some people mining for 24 hours after pow of course a bunch of butt hurt people are going to be complaining today when they notice they didn't get any coins mining yesterday, but thats what happens when people don't pay attention to the coins their mining.

I imagine a lil more dip before prices start going up again... unless people are smart and just don't sell
