The answer lies with the question. What is the future? The future is the future, it is not the past or the present, it is unpredictable and will be unexpected. We cannot know. Only hope for the best  we are the ones who shape the future, if we continue to use bitcoin, and make ads about bitcoin, I believe in the future, mass will adopt bitcoin |

Sidechains will allow for things that we can't even fathom just yet. That is what has me more excited about Bitcoin right now, we will be able to see how far this can take us. Greg said that they are coming soon, so hopefully we don't have to wait for much longer.

I dont see much future in Bitcoin by the end of the decade.
Other platforms with more innovation and no issues with block sizes etc will prevail.
NXT, NEM, and other 2.0 platforms will be the way of the future...
Bitcoin needs to succeed before any other coin. Once there is some sort of mass success, only then can another coin potentially take over. Bitcoin will either fail and take cryptos with it, succeed and be replaced or succeed. |

the future of bitcoin is atfirst reching the mainstream and then we should find a alternative way of mining bitcoins or maybe a alternative way then mining from where we can generate bitcoins at extremly low difficulty and nowdays i see a lot of people had left bitcoins since after the fall of 1000$

These 2.0 altcoins are for people who missed 1dollar bitcoins. I bet when bitcoins price surges again, all altcoins will ride the same wave. However bitcoin is currently the backbone of all alts and I really can't see that changing anytime soon. I think that bitcoins would hold their value in the long term and some alts just join with bitcoin in holding their value. NXT is one of those coins I see dramatically rising in the next 5 years. even if it has only fallen in the last 2 years, it has to hit the bottom soon. 2k sats is pretty low for the level of innovation that coin has. |

Replacing digital currencies will not serve the purpose, we want the bitcoins should replace all major fiat currencies then it will glitter like gold and can become the king of the currencies, the future of bitcoins is bright but I doubt it won't get on the mainstream as people have different mindsets and would not prefer to invest their money in cryptos. |

Replacing digital currencies will not serve the purpose, we want the bitcoins should replace all major fiat currencies then it will glitter like gold and can become the king of the currencies, the future of bitcoins is bright but I doubt it won't get on the mainstream as people have different mindsets and would not prefer to invest their money in cryptos. Well the main purpose is safe & anonymous transactions right. The main goal is to be the market leader for this purpose. With more and more people buying & using it, eventually it will go mainstream. |

Well you are partially right, i feel most alts are for those who missed out on BTC under $1. I was no exception either. If i knew about BTC when it was only one or two cents, i could have mined thousands on my PC and would have been a millionaire! lol However its not too late. Only some will prevail. NXT will be one of them, there is room for more than one cryptocurrency also. I doubt claims that one BTC will be worth $1 million though, let alone $100K or even $10K |

Who are you talking about? Do you mean Peter Thiel as co-founder? Or are you referring to Elon Musk? I know that Thiel is invested in some Bitcoin/Blockchain companies but he also is kind of bearish regarding it. I remember somewhere in 2013 he said that there is chance of 80% that Bitcoin will fail. That was 2-2,5 half years ago.And when you watch actual videos of him he still isn't really convinced it seems. |
