5% is still 5%, and it is enough for you to walk away with $100K + if this coin reaches a good market cap. Its also enough to cause a crash if you do dump.
You have some nice ideas behind the coin but justifying this pre-mine is going to be your biggest challenge if you want to even just get off the launch pad.
There is a couple of coins around which have good ideas but no community support. I asked myself why, and the common factor is large pre-mine.
If your certain you need a 5% pre-mine to reach your goals for this coin then my suggestion would be to give the community a teaser of your payment system. Give us proof you have been working on this for some time. Also think of a way to give better transparency. Are you known to this community under another avatar? is there any respected community members who can vouch for you?
Dev do you have a wooden plank in front of your head or what? Nobody likes your premine and you do not change it?
Premine is a big issue, when months ago we first came up with the idea of this new merchant system,
we were thinking about the premine for days.
We had different choices, but why would a coin with 5% premine which really wants to change the online porn site's payment system,
be worse than the coins which have 1% premine, and really nothing more, just a new name, logo, and 10 lines changed in their source code.
If you can gather here a bunch of people who would say that they won't mine this because of the premine we would change it to 1% or even to 0%.
It is always the community who decides, it is also possible to change the block reward in the source code as soon as it gets uploaded, and if you would
convince the nodes to update the wallets to your version, you can change premine as small as you want.
However there is one thing why 1% or less premine would make this coin nothing more than just a simple clone:
We want to use the premine to increase the payments what the porn sites gets when somebody ordered any of their subscription option,
and paid by XXX coin.
We would double or at least give a few percent coins up to their original transaction for a few month,
we think this would make them a good incentive to offer members to use XXX coin.
If we would lowered the premine we couldn't do this, than the porn sites would ask, why would they accept this coin as a payment system?
They could just use bitcoin and bitpay.com, why would they add this coin as a payment optin, it would be just useless tire for them.If a lot of people would ask now us to change the premine to 0% we would do, because we did our app and site for free, we had no cost with it yet.
But after that we are sure this won't be the next big coin, just a new useless clone.
We would like to make the premine as transparent as you want, if you ask us to send the premine to different escrows we would that.
But if people stop mining it because the premine, others who really support this coin will get more coins, I think this wouldn't be that bad.
And if we just wanted to sell the premine, we could just make 5 new shitcoin clone with 1% premine, not a good one like this.
Anyway sites will be online soon, just we got some bugs, and we need sleep too.
Give the coins to OCminer if he doesnt mind holding ehm , as he's a good guy, we need an escrow tho.
