I am going to have a meeting with the dev shortly.  Any suggestions would be welcome.  Please support any suggestions with reasons.
I am leaning towards a 14 day PoW X11 protocol launch... thoughts?

Looking to launch within 7 - 10 days.  I will keep everyone up to date.  My #1 goal is a fair coin.  No shady crap.

NO IPO... NO PREMINE...

I am leaning towards X11.  I feel scrypt is a bit out of sorts ...  I have not finalized though so any suggestions are welcome!

thanks for the support... much appreciated!

Well, in my opinion if you go with x11 your coin wont be well distributed and will plummet in price if you don't get huge support(Hype the coin with features you mentioned in your opening post) and interest from investors since there are large FPGA Chinese farms who will dump all mined coins on first sight of an exchange. X13 is a bit better, but i would recommend to look at x15 algo witch is being tested as i type and it looks like it is really stable and great algo atm since there are no FPGA available.

That is a very good point.  I will bring it up to the developer and look it up myself! Smiley

I was going to say to go with X13 imo. I haven't heard of X15 yet, but X11 is oversaturated right now, and X13 would be your best bet.

I think it will be harder for the pools with X15 actually.

As suggested by the others, I think X13 would be a good algo.
Look forward to the launch Smiley

If you go scrypt you can have the chance at getting all the new ASIC miners' attention.  That is part of what blew Razor up was that it gave scrypt miners something good to mine after period of stagnation. But this puts small miners totally out.

If you go x11/13 then small miners have a chance but then it might turn into rental wars.

I think both are honestly fine in the long run.  Can't have everything be perfect as there are downsides to any algo you choose.

I have the initial dev lined up.  However this will be a community project.  I would love to get dev help from multiple sources for new functions and updates.

This will be a good demonstration to people that you dont need a PREMINE or IPO to succeed.  I hope people support that! Smiley
