So what happens on block 10081?  Does it go PoS at that time?

sounds like it as what is on the first page. when it goes pos I go home.

search the op (ctrl-f) stake, or pos, you won't find anything. for about a year it has a block reward. mostly (300 days worth) its 10 frsh but also added is fees from transactions, so it will be higher. then afterward the block reward becomes only the fees. stop worrying about proof of stake, crypto coins mostly die long before stake becomes useful.

Yeah, I noticed there was no mention of staking, so how do the rewards pay out when we hit that block?  Initially it said it was PoW for 300 days where the block reward was 10 + FEES.  Now it is saying PoW ends after 7 days.  How does one get the 300 days of block rewards after that magical block?

same with me. Restarted the miner and now seems ok.

I've discovered something funny, there seems to be some sort of "User-DoS" going one.

For example there is worker "hellracer.1" from IP 123.123.123.123 with valid shares, hashing away nicely, everything good.

Suddenly a User with the same username connects from a china IP and sends lots of invalid shares resulting in a Ban of that user.
This obviously just happens with users in the Top Ten lists of the pool, it seems someone wants to get the hashrate of the pool down or
at least keeps the user away. They are guessing your password, so they are trying "x", "1" and "12345" etc.

Best way for you is, to change your password to something more secure AND GO ANONYMOUS so your username is not displayed anymore !

You can change that in "My Acccount", enable anonymous there.

I've banned those chinese IP for now, but they'll surely return with a new IP.

Is it usual that one does not create any balance on fresh.pool.mn? Yesterday after several hours of mining had to jump to Supernova. Other coins at pool.mn have no problem creating balance.

I'm having an issue compiling on Ubuntu 14.04. It seems to compile fine but with I run freshcoins it just sits there and does nothing. I have to ctl+c to get back to the prompt.

Any idea what may be happening?

After being contacted by FmTqaJhi5fG6t6LNsDau1NksZGdJHN3DyV - i have reinstated the shares and payouts. And am confident (as I was initially) that while the hashrate was reported wrong, the shares and values were accurate

Shares were not accurate. When someone send more than 900k shares in a few minutes while someone with 50MHs send only 800, there is clearly a problem.

Now, the pool hashrate is more..normal (~2GHs instead of..80GHs)

I'm glad that you correct your pool (i'm pretty sure that your stratum was not before) but i'm sad that this guy will be paid for his cheating. (and will surely dump no matter the price)

Shares were perfectly accurate. Its what happens when you have substantially more hashing power, such as GPU Farms and such. The shares submitted *were all valid* there is no way to game the system in this method.

You running as daemon or qt client?

If running as daemon make sure to add:

daemon=1
server=1

to you freshcoin.conf config file.

hardcoreminers has most of the users set to anonymous so something like this is not happening but the pool rate is going down. The valid ratio is now 50%. Admin of hardcoreminers, please check this.

Edit: now below 49%, please ban the ips submitting fake shares.
