Probably because the miners weren't optimized when it first appeared but since it is optimized, so it uses the GPU to it's full potential.

Exactly, ever since the fresh Algo, I DON't really want to mine any other coin (i have a pretty decent server farm), NIST5 couldn't really compare to this, let's make it a fresh world by spreading Fresh and this great Algo.

I don't know how large the team is, but I'd strongly recommend getting a dedicated expert for both marketing and business development.

Savale, I don't have a ton of free time, but as both an investor and enthusiast of Freshcoin, I'd be happy to do a basic consultation and marketing outline for you pro bono if you're interested.  Just shoot me a PM when you get some time.  Despite the current miner dump driving the price down, it's been a long time since I've felt this confident about a cryptocurrency.  At this point, I am totally dedicated to the cause.

In the meantime, why not take some quick, easy steps right now?  I've just emailed CoinGecko about adding FRSH.  This is a coin ranking site that I am seeing cited more and more.  They're still in beta, but I think getting on here will add some great exposure, even if it's close to the bottom of the list.  Another nice thing about CG is that they don't rank only by volume or market cap, but they use a unique algorithm that takes over a dozen factors into account to create a unique CoinGecko score.  So a coin can still rank highly even if their price has recently taken a hit.

If even a dozen of us takes 1-2 minutes to email them, I think there's a very good chance it may be added.  Someone in the BC forum said they simply emailed them a request and they added it very quickly, so it's worth a try.  Crowdsourcing at its finest.

For now, not much. savale seems busy with the alpha preparations for the fresh online feature. I guess things like coinmarketcap, coingecko, letstalkbitcoin will help get some exposure. Else the coin will keep getting hammered as it is now.

Wulfcastle here, some of you may know me from SilkCoin, where I was their designer and part of the "SilkCoin Team" before our lead developer dumped the pre-mine and ran away with the funds. I was the person who re-designed the SilkCoin wallet and handled the design and marketing of virtually everything in SilkCoin.

I came across this thread around 4 days ago, when FRESH was at around 4K Satoshis. The price has since been dumped down to 1.5K Satoshis, let me tell you that this is perfectly normal. SilkCoin hit a low of 253 Satoshis, before beginning a run up to 8K Satoshis. The only thing holding back FreshCoin currently is marketing, and design, of which both fields I specialise in and have worked in previously on SilkCoin.

What FreshCoin is lacking mostly is marketing and I helped market SilkCoin to the extent that I took it from around 600 Satoshis to 5K Satoshis, if you inspect the relation between the marketing campaigns I led and the price increases you'll see that they are linked. The most important aspect that made SilkCoin attractive to buyers was not the marketing campaigns though, it was the wallet which I designed, which our whole team continuously marketed and it was the talking point  behind every SilkCoin discussion

I would like to re-design the FreshCoin wallet much in the same way I designed the SilkCoin wallet if savale, approves this. I have also taken the liberty to do a re-design of FreshCoin's logo, which I think is a big improvement over the current one. Take a look at the two variations below :

4) made the backend design for fresh online
