Quark has faced tough times lately, however i see many coins like digi, wdc, lots of the last wave of darlings crushed by new pump and dumps. I see no big deal here. QRK will recover long term if you get involved and do something. The issue is investors think they can buy currency and sit on it waiting for it to magically x100 whilst they sleep.

Every alt is pump and dump as some stage of it's cycle. Yes i think you bought in at the peak of it's first major pump, and i hope for your sake you will not sell at the bottom of a dump only to watch another pump or organic rise later. I have done this many times it is a horrible feeling.... just as bad as buying at the top and watching it sink. Worse even watching it go up after selling out at the bottom. You hear the community cheering as the price rises only to sit there dreaming it will crash back down so you can buy in again lower.

I don't see DI did anything wrong, in fact i remember him announcing his intentions on this board before the spike happened. If he had wanted to he could have bought a TON more qrk before telling the board he was going to do.

You can't sell now so hold tight, get involved with QRK bring others in and help grow the community. QRK's main issue is there was no premine or instamine fund for the dev team so they have little incentive to push things forward as fast as other coins. VIC has done amazing things in the back ground for qrk.

I'm accumulating more qrks on dips weekly. It has a dedicated core. I don't like how they are against any changes but still i think the core does think bigger than most communities do.

Bill believed qrk solved some problems btc and ltc had. Bill talked about qrk being a good deal at 200 sats, if you bought in at 30k sats then that was a bad move. Those who bought in before 5k and sold out for double or 3x 4x 5x 6x their investment did well. Some were not satisfied even with that.... i held a ton way too late. 200BTC less in my pocket than i could have had. Everyday people lose and gain more than that though it is part of the game right now.

Crypto is new, chances to make huge money, chances to lose huge money. I have been cautious when i should have been greedy, and greedy when i should have been cautious. It's like sometimes whatever you do it's the wrong move. Then after a while, you can't explain it you just get the hang of it , you get a 6th sense with this trading and you seem to be able to counter the greed and fear and make much  better trades. You can spot fud, hype and bullshit.

Will QRK go back to 30k sats? nobody knows. I don't think it will without some changes. However i wouldn't consider selling at this point. If i was holding a ton of qrk i certainly would not start this kind of thread. I would perhaps get involved with the qrk community and see what can be done about getting your investment back in better shape.

I would perhaps get involved with the qrk community and see what can be done about getting your investment back in better shape.

A good starting point is faggoting around other alt coins and play unsolicited investment advisor to others on Bitcointalk.

Good read, i believe quark has potential and is a good coin. People shouldn't blame others for their own trading mistake, seems like OP gambled with money he couldn't afford to lose.

stress less guys until i can get detail he's nearly 100% a NXT scammer sock puppet they are pissed at me for exposing their awesome (and now famous) IPO scam ( sure, like know one already knew??) (what a discovery)

Whether they're scammers or not, they sure have a fuck of a lot more integrity than you have.

You've been directly addressed on these forums by both original stakeholders AND current developers, in a dignified manner, and yet you continue to malign them without basis in the name of a deluded sense of self-important ethical pompousness.

You've been unable to address any serious philosophical or ethical challenge put to you and your ambigious "scam" claims, while you deceive your readers by dressing up what is basically an opinionated rant as an "educational blog".

What's probably the saddest aspect of all though is that nobody can identify on who's behalf you're promoting this agenda - i.e. "the scammed". That's possibly because that particular group of people does not exist otherwise they'd be complaining a whole lot more than you are. You're speaking for yourself.

IMO you're damn lucky you haven't had more of a sh*t campaign waged against you. If I was someone like Wesley, or Damelon, working my butt off for very little reward and coming up with great products, I'd be sorely tempted, but it's a tribute to their integrity that they haven't, so it's left to minions like me who'll be only too happy to oblige.

You're not exposing anything but your own myopic problems with history.

Stick a sock in it, get a life and let those with something constructive to contribute do so in peace.

OOOOOOOOHH, Tokyo just hit a NERVE, you got SERVED

Are you gonna take that digitalindustry??

that guys isn't "TokyoGhetto" of HBN is it? if so respect lost - i followed a few of his discussions, he seemed like a decent human being.

he was giving what seemed like honest investment advice to people.

and he was doing it in a fairly open and honest way.

I am not "toknormal", I think he just read the name wrong.

I am a firm believer of free-markets. People need to understand that this is a zero-sum game in which you shouldn't risk what you can't afford to lose. In the end the only person responsible for gains/losses in trading is the person pressing that buy/sell button. Regardless of how a coin is marketed. People should learn to do their due-diligence and trade/invest accordingly.

digitalindustry didn't steal anything from anyone. If you lose, some one wins and if you want that person to have a name, call it "the market".

It's a harsh world, and investing in crypto can be very harsh indeed.

On a cheerier note, and just to f**k up the formatting a bit:

Much better....
Sorry, couldn't resist.....might have a limerick as well soon if Di's really lucky.

Why would anyone listen to that Bill Sthill ? He's so unaware of anything and keeps repeating that there's something wrong with Bitcoin security(NSA actually tried to corrupt RSA hashing by using a flawed parameter, has nothing to do with Bitcoin hashing security) Yea something's wrong with his brains not with Bitcoin. How can you listen to someone on youtube and invest 20K ? Smiley This is the dumbest thing I've recently heard. Do your fucking research, don't buy something because someone tells you so, do it if you believe in that piece of technology but don't do it if you're so clueless. I refuse to believe that someone is so retard that he listens to someone on youtube and puts his family future in danger.

Quark is not friendly with speculators so trying to invest in Quark because you think the price is going up is stupid. Quark has other functions which makes it useful for daily transactions: because it's inflationary, it makes it easier for consumption knowing that the price in a year will be lower than it is today(the price could also be higher but normally it'll be lower as new coins are introduced in the system). With its fast generation time of 30-40 seconds only helping the merchants to confirm the sales faster. Its perfectly build as a medium of exchange not store of value, hence a nightmare for speculators like OP.

As a disclaimer I do buy quarks on a regular basis but I'm not speculating, I don't wish/expect for its price go up and I think thats what attracts me towards Quarks because I know that those fucking ugly speculators that exists in Bitcoin economy in huge percentages won't ever come into Quark because they stand to lose all and they know it. Unlike me they don't believe in crypto-currencies, they think its all a scam and they only seek to profit from those of us who truly believe that this decentralized monetary system is the future.

On top of that Quark is the coolest name Smiley I'm fully quarker now alongside my long bitcoiner position Grin I'm sorry for OP but if his stroy is true he shouldn't have really sold his qrks, a loss is only  loss when you drop your position, thats what traders are hoping you'll do and good for them that they profit from the amateurs. I don't know whats your guys obsession with "NXT" but I'm not concerned with this. Go to your shitty NXT and scam again with that or what?  Have you bribed Bill Still or Max Keiser again or did they look through your motivations this time with your nxt shit?

You are too full of yourself - it's hurting.

and thank you for the suggestion Kolin, I checked the Cryptsy deposit history. here's my old QRK address:

I demand back what you stole.

Me too, I demand back every bad trade in shit alts I ever made.

Me as well, I think I might sue Satoshi because I lost 400 bitcoin.

I might also sue the maker of Litecoin cause I lost 2 litecoin

I might also sue the U.S treasury because I lost my wallet which had contained $40.

Fret not, we are Internet Buddies still. I didnt say Quark was a scam. It however was mined out pretty quickly by a small group before it gained any real traction thanks to you and Bill and you know that. Don't you have a other coins too? Why not shill those?

Bull fucking shit it was.. i was mining it on release day.
Quark was released very fairly but because it had a revolutionary new algo on it we all jumped on it like wild fire just like Prime coin
so if you say Quark is scammy or unfair in anyway in the slightest then Prime or numerous others are too period .
Reality check noobs.. Popular coins are popular.
Kind funny how that works huh ? lol
Most of you know shit all about Quark.. i do i was working on CPU miners for it after launch and for 6 months after.. i Know QRK and SRC very well Wink
And if Bill goes and says its great and max says what ever that is not fraud.. its nothing bad in the slightest.
Guy that were hear before OCT know Quark was put out fairly and guys that came after cried foul because it was flashed mined
but if they were hear to flash mine it with us they would not be bitching.. Can you say Dark coin flash mine twice ?

I think the OP is full of shit..
I seen a youtube video and spent 20k usd on Quark coins and i was ripped off ? suuuuure  lol
And lets see some proof Digital was lying.. how could he ? Did he have proof it was going to tank in value eventually ? not even possible.
Further more why in the hell did this guy wait until the year 2014 to bitch about his 20 grand worth of Quark coins he bought last year ?

idiots trolling and / or stiring up drama for no good reason.

..nothing to see here move along.
