QUICK UPDATE

- Sorry everyone, the computer with the nodes was accidentally turned off. I'm looking at setting up some more diversified nodes to avoid this problem in the future.

- The distribution phase is over. If you place a buy on c-cex or alcurex for 0.00000001, you will get the exact same price that everyone else did.

- I love all of those whale eating pictures in the thread!

- Brazil's world cup loss... Ouch!

Barely anyone is taking the misc promotion offer. Get creative with your Plankton marketing and I will reward you Smiley

Although someone else would have to set it up, if you want to get into promoting, I suggest something like setting up a donation fund for whale charities ... Save the Whales is a logical choice.

You can set up a straight donation, or set it up to adopt a whale one at a time (think it's like $25/whale).

Or instead of this food giveaway thingy (literal food), use that for whale related donations... whale t-shirts, whale totebags, etc are on that savethewhales site too. Or instead of food, give away copies of that Blackfish movie.

I'd guess you'd get more promo mileage for a good cause, than giving away food.

You're not far off from where this is heading.

So here is some insight. I'm building a crypto trading discussion hub (where you can mingle with key traders and use FOOD to access special areas etc). Depending on funding there will be stacks of real food and drink to be won (i need to work out how to simplify this). A dream would be to get sponsorship for our elite whales (but that is only a dream). Charity is going to be a huge factor for me. I'll have pricing milestones that we need to reach and at each milestone i donate ~$1000 (subject to finances) to a charity which helps feed those in need.

Although i love the 'adopt a whale idea'- I'll  look into it Grin

The savethewhales site has various donation options, but after looking over it closer, the site and their payment options look like they are from the late 90s. Their only payment option appears to be by check.

There are a couple of adopt a whale programs from various charities, I see, but if looking for a reputable one, I suggest World Wildlife Fund ... I used to donate there sometimes. They have an 'adopt a blue whale' program and take paypal.

are alcurex/ccex trustable exchanges?

Let's hope we get on bittrex or poloniex soon, do we need to retweet or email people to push this through?

Due to wallet issues I used the one on Alcurex. And they are currently down... so... expect a lot of people have food stored somewhere they can't get access to.

Sorry, i just looked into it. Your first message didn't include a FOOD address so i requested your address. When you had replied it was drowned by all of the other messages as there were no indicators on your message. I've sent you a pm Smiley

Hopefully soon. We're also on c-cex and possibly another exchange soon Wink

I sent out a heap of FOOD yesterday (promotions) from alcurex (as i was away from the computer) so I need to ensure these transactions went through.

I think this whale has heard about my Plankton here in Australia and is trying to come ashore to get it!

Hi, I see that slowly things are getting in order regarding our exchanges: c-cex has been working well for some hours, and alcurex replied that they "are on maintenance mode still an hour". I hope these problems did not interfere negatively with Plankton.
