Why not approach homeless shelters; at the #food shelters homeless can sign up for a wallet. The staff then gives them a QR placard to have with them. Ppl can then tip their wallet. At the shelter they can then cash in for essentials like food, hygiene products etc.

Of course there would need to be a big PR campaign to instruct and educate the public.

I thought about this last week but how do you suggest they carry their FOOD? Most homeless people don't have cell phones?

Ok, enough with the homeless idea. The Whale is being polite by pointing out the obvious regarding logistics. But, that is a serious idea that requires a huge amount of commitment. And not just commitment until FOOD hits 1,000 satoshis either.

Do those of you suggesting the idea know how much work and dedication a project like that would take? And that would be for just one homeless shelter in one city. If so, then fine. But, if you are not ready for the massive amount of hours that would require every week, then a half-assed, slapped together effort would do far more harm than good.

I know that I do not have that kind of time, nor am I independently wealthy so that I could make the time even if I wanted to. But, if you really have found the inspiration to take a project up to the level of seriousness required, then good for you and I wish you luck.

But, do not throw out an idea like that as if you were saying, hey let's all go to the park and throw a football around. It sounds fatuous, not helpful.

As FOOD is just picking up speed I'd like to voice a few opinions and ideas:
The first being a clearer direction as to what the purpose and use of Plankton actually is.

Plankton will be all about the community. It is not intended to be the most technologically advanced crypto, therefore the algorithm does not matter. Plankton traders can expect a host of incentives while day trading. Including free food (literally, not the coin), drinks, trading information and more!

A simple community based currency with incentives for trading, but what else? I'm hoping TheWhale can give a bit more explanation as to where his/her vision is going. I think Plankton needs another purpose, perhaps the backing of online food ordering not just limited to fast food like pizzas, but for subscription based things such as cereals, coffee, small snacks (stuff everyone needs and has a monthly budget for) and all of this discounted.

Now I realize my suggestion is far off but perhaps a good goal to work towards. I myself am just throwing out my ideas, I have no connections at the present time to any services that I could potentially consult and recruit to the cause. Instead I hope to inspire ideas like this and maybe motivate our small pool of baby whales to see where exactly they can contribute.

My next idea ties in with my post on the subreddit look:

Honestly I think it's a good start but we should hire someone to create a clean banner. The first thing I look for in new crypto is quality of graphics, they show the development team is making an effort in all aspects, and if I don't like it I don't give it a second look. I was drawn in because of the awesome graphics in the forum thread and the look needs to be consistent. Look at the Dogecoin website, it's lighthearted and fun by design but still professional and clean, we should follow its path.

They say don't judge a book by its cover but this happens regardless and in the world of crypto you definitely need looks to set you apart. Take a look at the altcoin announcement forum and you'll see hundreds of coins with promising features but graphics that look like they were thrown together by people with an extremely basic photoshop skill level. The announcement graphics are a great start but we'll need more content and more Plankton based graphics for buttons, banners, and other promotions.

Also note: I am a small whale with not much stake in this so the motivation is not for personal gain, rather I see the potential and will share my ideas and opinions as a way of contributing

Great idea as this coin is about caring.. also ignore the nasty comments made by those who only want to spread hatred. I have taken most of my coins off the exchanges now and staking baby plankton. Oh and I passed my target with the recent dumpings I got now approx 15 million plankton..am I a micro whale now yet?

I also bought from 5 sats to 16 sats was my highest and 0,.05 btc at IPO so it's a mix.. I got one more buy order @ 3 sats still I think lol.. ..I would love to get to 20 mil plankton but am too tired to trade at this point..need some air then zonk out and watch a movie.. ..Night night Whale Dev..thank you for everything.. I found miners wholesale today too when I was looking.. what the heck happened to the price of this coin? Things seemed so promising on c-rex, but looks like it died once it got to bittrex. Any chance of a turnaround?
