Trying to install the Plankton wallet-qt.
It says the wallet is "offline" and isn't syncing. Stupid question, how to I make it go online? My other wallets are working fine...

Trying to install the Plankton wallet-qt.
It says the wallet is "offline" and isn't syncing. Stupid question, how to I make it go online? My other wallets are working fine...

Mac OS wallet. Firewall is allowing it. Other wallets are syncing. Ive never come across this issue before.

There was an error on the first time opening it after the installation and said the wallet needed to close. I reopened it and it opened fine but isn't going online. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. No error the second time but still is offline.

Any ideas?

Search "%appdata%" into the folder explorer and find the "Plankton" folder. In there create a new text file called Plankton.txt and copy/ paste

Now save and change the file type from .txt to .conf


I'm looking at getting the .conf file included in the wallet download so this shouldn't be a future issue.

I have no idea if its the same on OS as windows. I am new to OS mac computers but Ive been using windows for 20 years. I recently switched to all Mac laptops.. I did exactly as you described and still offline.  Do i need the {code} {/code} in there as well before and after?

update - tried it with and without the code and makes no difference. still offline. I don't know anything about these macs but they are kinda easy to figure out. I have no idea how to make this work.
