Hey Martin, sorry I've got a lot of PM's to get through as I've been away for a day.
You funds were sent out several days ago.

I have you down as PCdmdEHBZDwssPM41V15t3T6C6cqN2j6AC which was sent 473.118277

You need to make sure you are using a newer wallet and you are on the right chain.
Just run the "deleteblockchain.bat" file included in the wallet zip and then reopen the wallet.

i finally got my wallet sync'd correctly, but there are only two transactions in it. one is 86 coins, which i think should be the giveaway, the other is 20.99 coins, i have no idea what it is for (the contest?).

so turns out the bounty is still on the way? the last block my wallet has downloaded is block 12544, i hope this is the right number.

I just updated to the latest wallet with minting notification. Everything's working as it should. Thank you TMX!  
Any idea when PMP will be up for trading on an exchange? I see PMC still being traded on Polo.

We've actually been offered two exchange listings but I've turned them down at this time.
www.lazycoins.com was the most recent and it actually looks like it will become a solid exchange.
It's got a great naming scheme and appeal. "Lazypay" just sounds good 

Unfortunately, I don't believe it would be particularly beneficial for the first place people can use their coins to be an exchange.


Soon the empty PoW blocks will end and Staking will take over 100% of the network propagation.
We've got some services on the way and I'll contact the developers today to see what the status is.
I've also spoken with a developer who's got some ideas for implementing some features into our coin and I'll speak with him regarding the two major features on our roadmap. Hopefully will have some interesting news on that front this week.
Lots of stuff going on but I am still trying to catch up so bear with me  

Sounds good    I'm in no hurry to send my coins to an exchange anyway 
I think PMP has the potential to reach very high indeed in the long term, in the meantime I intend to keep my wallet opened and staking as often as I can

Not stake yet.. I downloaded latest version of qt and left it open, but coins don't stake.. D: With the old wallet, I was staking everytime.. But now, not..

I've only received stake once since receiving my initial coins. I think it stakes once a month, but I'm not 100% on that.

Staking is like mining. Finding blocks needs luck. The more coins you have the higher the chance to find a minted block = stake reward.
Coins have to have a certain minimum age, your wallet should be online 24/7 for best results.

My coins are staking very well ...

Sorry, I've been away most of the day. Let me get Nullu to confirm the txid and amount and then I'll get back to you.

Your chances of staking are dependent on the amount of coins you have compared to the entirety of other coins being staked. So if you are staking 10 coins and there are 100,000 coins being staked, your chances of staking are quite low as you are only holding 0.01% of all the staking coins. (this was an extreme example, but it gets the point across). As well, if people are mining the empty PoW blocks (which I am) then it will be hard to get PoS blocks in there, as a PoW block is being mined every 20 seconds. So PoW blocks are competing against PoS blocks. Once PoW blocks end everyone will be able to stake more often.

With the old wallet, I was staking everytime.. But now, not..  

This could have been because there was no one mining PoW blocks and you were one of the only people staking. This is because everyone already moved onto the new chain with the new wallet
That or you were on the new chain and you didn't clean out your old wallet file, so it thought it was staking amounts that weren't there. One of our users posted a pic of his wallet staking and all the amounts

Also, this is very obvious but bears repeating: You must unlock your wallet to stake (PoS) and mine (PoW).


There are 100,000 PoW blocks, at 20s/block that is 23.14 days in total.
We've passed 13,000 blocks so far.

I wanted to make sure there was enough time to prepare everything before ending PoW blocks.
If everyone want's, I can push an update that will end the blocks sooner.
Let's agree on a date and I'll push the update.

I think Wednesday of next week is enough time to get the news out to everyone and get them updated.

Nope, I meant to make an announcement about this;
Coin age begins after 1 hour and max age is 8 hours.
This means if you don't leave your wallet open and stake at least 3 times a day (contributing to network integrity), you are missing out on staking rewards. How's that for rewarding contributors?

The wallet automatically minimizes to the tray so it shouldn't get in your way if you leave it open while your computer is on.

Unfortunately those pesky PoW blocks are getting in the way.
